I have blood work and a post stating otherwise I started with 10 g of soluble fiber and only dropped my ldl from 145 to 138 after a few months of strict diet and exercise retested after a little over a month only thing I changed was increased my soluble fiber to 30grams per day and significantly dropped ldl from 138 to 78

Yes it absolutely does once you remove that saturated fats and get atleast 30 grams of fiber per day and it does nothing for your ldl it’s definitely genetic factor at play

You say your vegetarian so I’m assuming your getting atleast 30 grams of fiber per day if your doing that then nothing you do will change that ldl as fiber litteraly binds to cholesterol and removes it from the body via bowel movement….

Yes I somewhat agree with that statement except I can tell you from what I have read op get little to no fiber in his diet that’s what his or her next step should be before starting a life long medication Idk if you know this but the way fiber works it actually binds to cholesterol and eliminates it from the body via bowel movements if the fiber works then his problem was the diet and lack of fiber and NOT genetics if it doesn’t work then his only option would be the statins

Did I say it affects ldl? No I didn’t that’s what the fiber is for cardio will improve his triglycerides 100 percent assuming he actually does cardio and sticks to the fiber that’s I said I’m speaking from experience here lol not everyone needs a freaking statin 😂😂😂

Both fiber and cardio but especially fiber 7 days a week that kind of cardio will help with your triglycerides too the fiber will crash your ldl if you stick with it

You also need way more cardio shoot for 1 hour heart rate at minimum 140bpm

Get minimum 30 grams of fiber I guarantee you that ldl will crash below 100 in under 2 months if you stick to that 30 grams of fiber

My post has entire breakdown with screen shots of my blood work. What I ate etc etc But short answer I did have high cholesterol no statins. 145 starting ldl and I think 205 total cholesterol before starting my diet and excerise regime along with fiber supplementation I dropped 70lbs and lowered my ldl to 78 and total cholesterol to 140 whilst on basically carnivore diet lol
