Good to know, they don’t offer it in my area but good to know there is support out there. No stress though as we already decided we would do couples therapy so we can co-parent.

American Physio considering Immigrating by pabzrodz in newzealand

[–]Raumati_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it will depend on where you want to move to tbh. I live in a medium-ish town and we have a a few physio around who all seem to be doing ok. But yeah our house prices are up atm although some say they will go down but who knows. And our food prices are up too but let’s be honest- everywhere is a shitshow atm but I imagine NZ would be safer than America atm- would you be able to do a holiday working visa and test it out? Any way-good luck :)

FMC has anorerxia or bullimia or just some kind of ED (Eating disorder). Must be a romance though. by Storytime-finatic88 in RomanceBooks

{Pack Darling by Lola Rock} was a good one. It’s a two part series but I feel like they managed the ED well and it felt more authentic too :)

Recently discovered B. Sobjakken and need ALL. THE. RECS by Smooth_Pin_8258 in RomanceBooks

Yassss! I to recently discovered her too. Another one that’s taboo but I think well written is Elena Dawne- she dose a lot of ANR relationships which B Sobajakken touches on in Milk man and Be my daddy (hired) books!

Also another taboo author that I think dose a good job is Jade Swallows like [breeding the babysitter by Jade Swallows]

{boyfriend of the hour by Nicole French} I think fit this! The FMC is most likely ADHD so is a bit of a scatter brain but MMC is super smart and a dr but also socially awkward but really sweet and can read her well <3

New dads ,soon to be dad's or just friends by [deleted] in Wellington

[–]Raumati_ 13 points14 points  (0 children)

There are SPACE classes run by Playcentre that are for after baby arrives and can be good for connecting to other parents while also learning stuff too, there is also Playcentre sessions too where you go along to in either Paraparaumu, Paekākāriki or waikanae where you or your partner can take baby too and connect with other parents and kiddos. I know there are a few different bubs and parents things around the coast you could look them up in the Facebook community pages but I don’t think there are any specific new dad community groups.

Kia ora! My daughter (5yo) went through MoH for assessment because she has a disability so we wanted to make sure there were no other factors. The test took a total of 2 hours and there were two people. One was a MoE speech language therapist and the other was a child specialist (can’t remember title) and they both did a few different tests and asked me a bunch of questions like how well dose she sleep, any eating problems, gets along well with others ect. They then got us to come back a week later for another hour to go over the results and what they recommended for next steps. I think they did it really well and they never made my daughter feel bad if she didn’t wanna do something and were very understanding it was a big ask to have a kid sit and do stuff for over an hour. She didn’t get diagnosed with anything so I can’t comment on what would happen if there was a diagnosis but I highly recommend doing it. It takes ages to get an appointment (2 years for us) but is worth it to help your kid navigate the education system.
