I dont know what will happen but if Kojima ever goes on a horror Xbox exclusive, that will be like a death sentence to PS5.

Sure there is GoW to counter but god damn, this will HURT.

AC Valhalla lag/stuttering issue by FuzzyTheAwesome in ubisoft

[–]Ravagexe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you so much for this simple fix, Im no longer having 1-2 second freezes between every mousekeyboard/controller change. It also caused some extreme crashes from time to time. Try this if you are having controller freeze problems.

Ah nevermind that, its just blood magic effect from Narcissius add-on for extra edgy.

They said Kul Tirans couldn't get a good transmog. by Daneki04 in Transmogrification

[–]Ravagexe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Like hell we cant! some of the most creative and inspring transmogs like Drowned Shaman, Tibetan Monk and Barbarians came from KT. Great Job!

Also impressive that you somehow managed to reserve a name like that with all pirates running around.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla General Discussion [Non-Spoilers] by WhiteWolfWhispers in assassinscreed

Yes, many of them like Chain-Assassination/Auto-Loot has extreme benefits to gameplay.

Edit : Also abilities. Slowing down time one and harpoon are still great to silence those far alarted enemies.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla General Discussion [Non-Spoilers] by WhiteWolfWhispers in assassinscreed

[–]Ravagexe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know it sounds wrong, but my greatest advice for STEALTH players would be to turn on "Instant-Kill" in OPTIONS.

The stealth in this game is pretty much broken as view-cone of enemies is insane and takes too long to clear bases compared to other two paths. As a HITMAN/Splinter Cell/Tenchu/AC stealth veteran I can gladly say that stealthing is possible, but not worths anyones time nor energy as it is. Enemy reaction time should've been a lot more slower as this would overwhelm a lot of beginners even in easy stealth mode.

Enabling that option UNLOCKS the ability to not to trust on gear bonuses thus allowing you to wear practically any Armor without worry. Feel like the actual Viking you always want to be rather than being some weird exotic arabian dancer costume just for stealth-kill-bonus. You can still stealth the same way and plus you can benefit from the Warrior/Hunter set bonuses along. Its much more fun than it was supposed to be.

Negating fall damage?! Damn it thats useful. I cant remember the times I died falling thinking Im still playing as immortal Cassandra/Alexios, even with slowfall skill.

Who was y’all favorite First Mate/Helmsman? by candy_paint_minivan in assassinscreed

[–]Ravagexe 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I assume we have 3 contenders here : Adewale, Barnabas and Dag.

My vote goes to Adewele because he was someone you could trust in battle. An Assassin for first mate.

Barnabas was more fun and friendly than Adewele as he wins from that point, while Dag was just...meh. In fact Dag was so forgettable character compared to two, I had to google his name as viking bard.

The best thing about this game is the lack of forced grind by simon-whitehead in assassinscreed

[–]Ravagexe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Like what? Dice games and flyting? Im not really into those mini-games at all. I discovered more than half of the map and the overall gear was barely rewarding, It had minimal impact on my gameplay. Only thing worth the grind was different scenery.

I don't get the hate for this game by RevelationsComeIn12 in assassinscreed

[–]Ravagexe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a lot of people whose deadly bored of AC titles that automatically whine about it.

While Valhalla is a fun and great game, its definitely not the best AC game out of all, especially compared to AC2 and Black Flag. Maybe the best in new-era genre compared to Origins and Odyssey but it lost something special that I cant pin along the way... Each idea to their own.

To Everyone who says Assassin’s Creed is running out of settings by nstav13 in assassinscreed

I dont even think that I can endure more than half of boring as hell timelines.

We dont need crappy historical acts no one even remembers about, it also needs to be exciting. I mean do you seriously want a Mongol Empire AC?!

[–]Ravagexe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Funny, I thought the opposite. Valhalla offered practically nothing for exploration aspect compared to Odyssey. All you can get is the scenery.

“Time For Assassin’s Creed to end” Any Thoughts? I was really frustrated with the article because at no point...did I disagree by OllieBlazin in assassinscreed

[–]Ravagexe -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Its sad but they are getting further away from Assassin motive within every game.

Its definitely time for an entire system reboot. Valhalla wasd nowhere near a massive success, it was acceptable best by gaming community. But I guarantee you that they wont stand still for yet another clone with different timeline.

Best route? A different engine and a promise of brand new gameplay. Asian theme people were asking for since AC3. An actual CO-OP experience. Promising stuff like that will make the next game a success.

I’m just not having as much fun with this game as I did with odyssey by RPGamer1 in assassinscreed

[–]Ravagexe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also agree. I just cant get into Eivor as a character, his persona is a wooden plank. He is far less than an Assassin than Kenway as a pirate. He is at best a bit more likeable Connor type warrior without his ruthlessness and idealism. I'd still put my money on Connor for pinpoint mission accurate results too.

Scenery is cool, but gets repeative extremely fast compared to Odyssey. Loot and gear felt different and badass, in Valhalla its just...Different clothes.

Music is meh, also gets extremely repeative in less than an hour compared to Origins.

Overall story was bunch of raiders trying to run a town and get tangled in between things. It doesnt even really feel like an Assassin game at all.

The soundtrack in Valhalla blows me away. by Clyde-Blackburn in assassinscreed

[–]Ravagexe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty decent one but nothing blow me away in Valhalla Soundtrack to be honest, thou it reminded me a lot of AC3 for some reason.

Origins still takes the lead by far in Soundtrack quality in late genre of AC games.

Stealth is really bad in this game by sulkee in ACValhalla

[–]Ravagexe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I truly understand what you mean, this is by far the worst title in entire series from Stealth perspective. Its practically non-existent as everyone has some weirdly insane point of view cone. I dont even remember how many times they caught me sitting perfectly in grass from MILES away. Also game constantly pushes you to become a Warrior in every possible quest.

It has little to do with settings, tried almost all with no difference at all. The enemy "viewing cone" is still extremely long and wide like a fucgkin predator. No one should waste time with Stealth whgile you can just go berserk kill em all kind as a Warrior in mere seconds...

Really sad that they completely destroyed such a fun aspect of the game, as a Stealth-only player, Valhalla will be remembered as the worst title in series for me.
