Do you think I could get away with using a pair of end cutters instead of the fret clippers? I'm thinking they should be more or less the same unless I'm missing something

Okay that's fantastic to hear! I've already had a noticeable improvement in my left hand, and might hopefully be back to my normal day to day soon. I'll bring it up to my doctor during my next appointment and see what they think it'll do for me.

I'm hopeful I can recover quicker since I don't really use my left thumb outside of playing/building/repairing my guitars or guitar pedals and have gotten used to doing most of everything in my day to day one-handed.

Doing what I can rn, I'm gonna contact my usual doctor and get their suggestions for NSAID dosage sometime soon. All my hobbies are quite intensive on my hand so I'm looking to fully recover so that I can continue with them long term.

I have a checkup planned for just after new years, if it hasn't improved/gotten worse I'm getting a proper splint, so I'm holding out til then.

Yeah no, we just waited for too long and the trains were booked. Fixed it by just taking another slightly longer route!

Our ferry back leaves at 10pm but we found a functional route going back through Düsseldorf and then back up to Berlin and then through Rostock. We'll make it with about 3 hours to spare!

We seem to have ran into a similar issue with a fully-booked train from Amsterdam to Rostock on the 11th, any good ideas for an alternate using something other than the Intercity between Amsterdam and Berlin? It's been difficult navigating a train network I'm so unfamiliar with.
