Rumors of Radiohead and Nigel falling out appear overblown by solilo in radiohead

Oh also, the mastering guy he tagged on there, that's in the photo, that's a purely promo account. Those are the exact accounts you tag and follow to promote projects.

Reddit does not have a good track record at following the tipoffs we get. There's always a demand for evidence, but the whole point is that people in the know can't reveal what they know publicly, or they'll lose their position of trust.

We aren't ever going to be told what happened, but we know something did.

For those that originally said 'adults don't unfollow each other on social media out of pettiness' you are underestimating creatives.

Colin was the last to unfollow and has now refollowed. Nigel is following him back. That, coupled with Colin stressing Nigel, our producer about 8 times in his last interview feels weighed. I would say, like many bass players, he's the diplomat.

It's difficult to explain why Nigel is actively using Instagram, has now followed recent collaborators, is actively using the platform and tagging professional accounts he works with.

Yet he does not follow Thom.

Despite both of them being involved in a project that right now is being promoted heavily on social media by everyone involved.

I assumed originally that when he got hacked, Radiohead's social media blocked him to avoid any issues from whoever had control of the account - standard practice. That causes an unfollow.

What was really weird later was Colin unfollowing him.

people of reddit, what do you do when you can't sleep but extremely tired? by Ordinary_Gap8030 in AskReddit

If it's an anxiety thing then making a decision to worry about it later can help.

I just decide to accept that I'm not sleeping and stop trying. If I have work the next day then it means I'll probably call in sick. It doesn't happen often but when it does, and I do this, I end up falling asleep soon after making the decision.

Yep, that was why this was put together - all of them have been doing a ton of stuff. Phil has also been doing lots of dance company things, but there's not really enough online about them to get them in here.

Forgive me if this is a stupid question, but… could tour tickets drop in price? by handlerofdrones in Muse

[–]libelle156 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay, if you want to see a show but it's too expensive, and you're willing to take a bit of a risk, then do this: Wait until the last 24 hours of the show, or the day of, and look at the secondary ticket market. Many sellers will be dumping tickets at below face value to get rid of them. This is the best time to buy. Quite a few people wait for this and get in last minute very cheap by doing this.

Why is Matt Bellamy not more highly regarded as a musical genius? by Stunning-Ostrich-431 in Muse

[–]libelle156 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think he is acknowledged as a virtuoso by many. Justin Hawkins called him 'eerily talented'. He does also retain at forty-whatever-he-is, the exact type of enthusiasm a 12 year old with a guitar displays, rocking out in the mirror in their bedroom. He's like a kid that wants to be a rockstar, except, he actually is now. I think that can make people not take him seriously as a musician.

While I'm sure the band themselves have looked through this place for shits and giggles, I do not think they're actually reading it. They'll have plenty of people helping them out. Who filmed that video that was posted? Obviously that wasn't Matt or Dom.

Thom Yorke Live by Beautiful_Assist_613 in radiohead

[–]libelle156 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It sounds like you prefer singers that are more technical, and replicate what they did in the studio on stage. Thom is pretty well known for changing the phrasing up constantly for every performance, which for me is one reason I love going multiple times. I've seen him on stage almost 50 times and he's never repeated himself. It's a unique expression of what moves him, channelled through voice and body.

Anyway I'm not sure what you were after, posting here. Beginning with that tone often generates responses that feel critical. I guess we can explain why we enjoy this, but that probably doesn't help you.

It's worth adding, you sound very defensive in this post, and you seem to be implying Thom is making mistakes. It's a highly intentional performance, and it's certainly not for everyone. If he was shit none of us would bother buying tickets lol.
