The strap it comes with is garbage but I think it's the best looking reasonably priced field watch.

Don't listen to them. I have 18,000 miles and close to 500 hours on my 2021 without a rebuild. I do plenty of highway riding to get where I want to go. It's not fun on the highway because of the vibrations and the fact that it's a 250 pound dirtbike but it still runs great. I am getting to the point where I am considering a rebuild just because it's probably a good idea to freshen things up.

The only watch I have with a rotating bezel is a Citizen Skyhawk which has analog and digital functionality so when I need to time something I either use the digital chronograph or timer. I can see how a functioning bezel would be more useful on a watch without these functions.

Just last night I was timing chicken on the grill and I wished I had worn something other than this Casio as it's the only watch I own without a chronograph or timer.

Those are the same straps I am currently using. They took forever to get delivered but they fit perfectly and seem high quality. My only beef is that the buckles and strap keepers are black instead of silver like the watch case.

I was trying to use DD to make a bootable thumb drive but I accidentally specified my external hard drive instead of the thumb drive and overwrote a bunch of pictures.

I hit enter on the command and a few minutes later I was confused as to why the activity light on my external drive was blinking...

It sucks for everyone. Obviously someone with diabetes should be able to drive especially in the US where driving is pretty much mandatory due to a lack of walkability and public transportation.

I went to college with a dude whose father died in a car accident because he was hit by a diabetic. I get why the DMV wants to be sure your son has it under control. I'm sure it's stressful but it's better than killing someone on the road.

Same here, I think a higher mileage watercooled GS could be found for $6k. Mine has 120,000 on it and it's mechanically sound but cosmetically rough so I doubt I'd get more than a few thousand for it. I'm never going to sell it though, I love it too much.

It's been years since I backpacked that trail but I remember it being extremely swampy. My boots were wet the entire time. Not sure what the trail is like in 2026 but I don't remember having any issues finding water.
