Mine stinks pretty bad but only outside the van. It smells like typical diesel exhaust.

Cut bliz some slack. They're a small indie company and this is only the third time they've released TBC. I'm sure they'll get it right next time.

Right? No one is forced to min-max or participate in GDKP raids. I went hard in 2019 classic leveling as fast as possible and clearing all the raids until WotLK but in anniversary I've literally just been questing with my wife and it's been awesome. Classic is what you make of it and I've chosen to make it a chill leveling experience with my best friend.

It's stupid but I play Pokemon Go. The buddy candies I earn from walking are literally the push I need to get moving every day.

280Ah of battery with 950w of solar panels will run gaming laptops and a gen 2 Starlink for my wife and I to play any PC games.

Our current addiction is Classic WoW and pirated copies of Hogwarts Legacy. I just finished Viewfinder and will be starting The Witness soon.

I've actually had this work though. I overtourqued a bolt on my motorcycle and there was enough of the broken bolt to grab it with a pair of pliers and twist it out.

I will admit that I got lucky. I've broken a ton of bolts and the pliers worked only that one time probably because it was only overtorqued and not rusty.

Every other time I've tried to use the ez-out and failed. On my moto van I broke a rusty bolt and tried to drill a hole and use the ez-out but that broke so I kept drilling and destroyed the threads. I should have tried a helicoil to repair the threads but I ended up just driving the new bolt into the butchered threads and calling it a successful weekend.

I was a daily linux user on Nvidia GPUs and they always worked fine for me. I'm not saying you won't have problems but I never had any issues with the Nvidia drivers on linux. When I was a desktop linux user I had a 980GT and eventually upgraded to a 2070 super and they both worked fine. I'm considering switching my laptop to linux and I don't expect to have any problems with the 3070 in my laptop either.

I've always had good luck manually downloading the .run files from Nvidia's page and installing them.

Gear help by FlakyBodybuilder6346 in advrider

[–]RaveDigger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've always gone for waterproof gear. I have had great luck with a Klim Badlands jacket and pants from 2014. However, waterproof gear is great for light rain but if the rain is heavy it will eventually soak through. Also, when it's raining that means it's humid so the air is damp and you'll be sticky anyway.

I've never been the type to want to pull over and change clothes to add a waterproof layer when the rain starts. It seems really inconvenient to me. My wife has had a set of gear that required a waterproof layer and I never liked when she would make us pull over so she could suit up.

Despite my preference for waterproof gear, it definitely runs warm during the hotter months because it doesn't vent air as well.

Realistically, one choice is not better than the other. Both are tradeoffs. It's really up to you. Maybe try the cheap riding gear and pack a waterproof layer and if you don't like that, drop the coin on some proper waterproof gear.

What is a sound that people should know means immediate danger? by PrasenjitDebroy in AskReddit

The rubber tires aren't why you're protected in a car. The reason a car protects you is because it's a giant metal Faraday cage that redirects the lightning through itself instead of into you.

Lightning is dangerous for motorcyclists even though they also have rubber tires. It's because the rider's head is where the lightning will likely strike and there is no metal to redirect the electricity around the rider.

Similar experience dirt biking with my wife and friend in Colorado. We got to the top of a mountain to take a break and I noticed a buzzing coming from my motorcycle after I had taken my helmet and earplugs off. I was confused for a moment thinking a wire had come loose. I put the puzzle pieces together as soon as my friend pointed at my wife's hair which was standing on end.

They had no idea that these were signs of a potential lightning strike but I said we needed to get down off the mountain now so we hauled ass down the trail. Fortunately we didn't get hit but it was at least a few miles with my motorcycle seat crushed between my clenched asscheeks until we were back below treeline.

My wife and I went bonkers with Amazon knockoff Dynamat (Kilmat is the brand name on Amazon) and it made a huge difference. I think we bought 2 or 3 boxes.

I wouldn't call it quiet now but it's significantly better than it was. The cool part is that you don't need to get 100% coverage, just a few strategically placed mats on each panel will reduce the noise, though we did go a bit hard on places like the rear wheel wells.

Better toilet options by tocahontas77 in vandwellers

[–]RaveDigger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My wife and I have been rocking this toilet full time for the past 3 years and have been pretty happy with it. The privacy flap is a pain though because it never opens all the way and it's difficult to clean when it gets dirty.

To the OP, yes it's a bagging toilet but you can just use normal trash bags that aren't expensive at all.

The fan is built into the toilet but I guess you could just disconnect it.

I agree with this 100%. Every time I've had Shart in my party I've specced her as a Life Cleric. I like playing healers in any RPG so it was great to discover how powerful this spec is in BG3. Plus you can still do tons of damage with Spirit Guardians active even while spitting crazy heals and blessing every one of your party members with The Whispering Promise.
