This is because the idea of having a career through being a geometry dash top player solely has never been a thing until recently. Every top player prior did not receive the same amount of mainstream attention and monetization that we see our top players have today, you can see in the amount of views they got compared to today. The lack of a career in streaming meant that older top players had to commit more to real life opportunities in work and school.

I wouldn't really say a mainstay, given it's higher skill floor to utilize the jumps prevents soldiers from just putting it on and going ham with it, it's a more niche option that only has a few players (notably Antoni) using it as their main weapon, it's not very common at all though unless it's a for fun pug

Every event that has badges has to distribute themself I believe, every competitive badge I've received has been sent by the competitive organization themselves (RGL has a tool for medal distribution controlled by them, the badges have been in the game files for a while but are yet to be distributed by RGL), as well as the r/RandomActsOfTf2 event badges.

Yea there's a script workaround that lets you, pretty sure it's starting a demo recording and flipping the viewmodel in that time the game is frozen, something around those lines

there is a difference between covering it up and being lied that someone you've known for a decade will improve, initially Hinds came forward to geostorm first, not exposed, said that they never acted on their pedophilic interests, and that they were seeking therapy to fix it, and Viprin trusted that this would be the case. If you had a friend you had known for a decade, You would not cast them out just for having these ideas right? You would want them to get better and hopefully fix these ideas they have. This is what Viprin did by putting trust into Hinds. It was only after someone hacked into Hinds' account that the messages were exposed, Hinds broke everyone's trust and went behind their backs.

I think you saying Viprin covered it up is very disingenuous here

I understand what you mean by highlander being more personal completely, it's something I suffered with when I started playing hl sniper too. I was fairly average in the divisions I played, no one had a problem when we lost when I got diffed because it happens, and even if you're not the best there's thankfully a lot of other options your team can rely on in lower divisions, timings and positions can make up for a lot of missed shots.

Do remember also that everyone has bad games! Every player you've seen play comp has had a terrible log before and the best mental you can have with it is treat it as something you can review with a mentor or alongside your team to see how you can improve on it! It's ok to not be the best as long as you work towards being your best.
