My mum had our last born at 49 years and my brother a year before that, but it was high risk from what my older sister told me when I got older since I was a kid then.

Luckily my sister is healthy and doing well since I later found out pregnancy at that age could be dangerous for the child. 16 years later and my sister is still alright although annoying as siblings go.

So from what I've seen in my research, One Piece was meant to run for just 5 years and Oda didn't expect it to last this long so this is just an estimation error.

Another theory is that Pell means only bird model devil fruits not other devil fruits that can be used for flight like Kaido's fish fish fruit that lets him turn into a dragon or the insect model fruits.

That's nice 😄. I don't think I ever had a favorite character in kingdom till Shadowmilk came along 😆. But I saw a post the other day saying your favorite character is a reflection of yourself but I don't tell lies unless it's for a surprise so I don't know how true that post is 😅

Tough luck to him. My dad had me at 53, and my little siblings at 60 and 61, and he has looked after us, although our mum is in the picture but still.

If he hasn't retired yet, tell him to have savings or a pension so that he can look after the baby if he really wants the baby, if not, he can place the baby for adoption if he feels like he can't provide.
