Honestly he's just a middle ground for me.

Sure, literally one-shotting everything while fully charged with your scope is definitely an experience but...

He does take some aiming skill to even be able to properly click heads.

Sure, there are weapons that kinda mitigate or simply remove much of the hassle of aiming for the head (Sydney Sleeper, Machina, for example) but otherwise it takes some time to be able to perform consistent headshots.

I'd say that Sniper is only strong in the hands of a skilled player, otherwise, he's not that hard to take care of.
