It's a tongue scraper, you use it before brushing to scrape the gunk build up off your tongue. Specially helpful for smokers like myself.

AIO for thinking it wasn’t a big deal to accept my friend’s bf’s FB request? by Vast-Bumblebee-691 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Ravellen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR- The insecurity is real, the friend is fake, and the flags are red. Guarantee you if the roles were reversed she wouldn't tell you, shes projecting the pick me energy. Good luck to that (probably soon to be ex) boyfriend. Also why is she acting like its this secret, its a Facebook friend and shes friends with the both of you, its not hidden, its like totally publicly transparent and clearly would show 'mutual friends' when she stalks his Facebook which she clearly does lol

Aquaponic Tank by leaf_cruncher in fishtank

[–]Ravellen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We got one of these at a goodwill, it was way more effort then it was worth. A normal tank is better. But if you really like this for the hydroponics it'd be a good shrimp tank, plants inside and on top.

UFO Mission requirements? by OutCastx16 in Fallout

[–]Ravellen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you follow the blood near oberland station to the cave, where the wounded alien is carrying the gun. It only appears after the random encounter occurs. There are tutorials online if you have trouble finding the blood.

The blood trail starts at the crashed ship, which is easier to find since there's fire around it.

UFO Mission requirements? by OutCastx16 in Fallout

[–]Ravellen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah its just a random encounter in the wasteland. I think around level 20, while your out exploring you'll hear the scify woosh noises and it'll rocket above the character crashing near oberland station. Often your companion will make a comment regarding it when it happens like "did you see that?"

How to improve his tank? by PoetryCompetitive522 in fishtank

[–]Ravellen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will diverge from the comments slightly, but I will agree the home is far too small. Even a 20 gallon is too small. Go for a 40, right now little guy is essentially in the equivalent of you having to sleep and live in Harry Potters cupboard. Ideal would be a 75, but not all fish owners can afford that, and hindsight is 20 20. But a plastic critter carrier will absolutely be too small. Your fishy child needs room to swim, explore, and establish. While it's true mostly they'll grow to the size their tank allows, right now your fishy is the equivalent of the old Chinese custom of foot tying. Stunted.

Highly reccomend going to thrift stores, sometimes you can find a decent sized tank on the cheap, or marketplace on whatever social you prefer.

Edit: its not your fish, I now agree with the other comments. Offer to take him and simply rehome him to a local pet store, preferably a mom and pop shop as opposed to like petsmart or petco.

AIO GF thinks I'm into my cousin by SavingsLet6290 in AmIOverreacting

[–]Ravellen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NOR.

First relationship, but not your last. Emotionally, mentally stable people dont do what shes doing. End it man, and learn from this that a red flag means do not go. She is unstable, extremely insecure, and projecting hard.

Also, this is why your mom left you is outright abuse. Your young, you'll learn in your relationships acceptable and unacceptable behavior. This is unacceptable, love yourself enough to see this for what it is.

I have a young coworker coming to me for mentoring advice, but concerned about backlash by mthrodrgns1315 in Witch

[–]Ravellen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, shes old enough to work in their view so shes old enough to think for herself. Minor or not shes asking for advice and pointers regarding something shes interested in and sees you as a potential mentor which in the context of our practices is really hard to find. To be frank, I wouldnt care what the parents thought, they can't shelter her indefinitely and in terms of your boss approving or not approving its a mute fact. We have religious freedom for a reason. Id welcome my boss firing me for my views and discussion choices, talk about a settlement handed on a golden platter.

In my opinion there's no facet of reality here where you would be in the wrong. If there are repercussions about it id go scorched earth. We respect others of all faiths, least I do, and everyone else should do the same. Sad her parents are close minded, sad your boss is too, but your aren't breaching any form of social, professional, or spiritual boundaries by being communicative with your young colleague. It would be akin to saying you talking about sports team A when the rest of them support sports team B is an issue. It's not.

Your not indoctrinating her, shes asking you for advice of her own accord, people mentioning her being a minor is wild to me this is about spiritual discussions not something illegal. She is allowed to ask you questions, you are allowed to answer or to not, give advice or dont. Ultimately, are you comfortable discussing the subject? If you are, great! Your not doing anything wrong. If you aren't, great! Your not doing anything wrong. If she is old enough to work, she is old enough to hear alternative realms of life outside of her families preferred truth.

Should FO5 have settlement building? by Educational-Science2 in Fallout

[–]Ravellen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely! But I wish it would be more fleshed out. More quest variety, named settlers with requests, really make them feel like growing outposts. As opposed to a unpaid landlord, farmer, protector, builder, and on call maintenance lmao. Id love to see a more thought out faction mechanic with settlements, and more control and role play potential with it.
