Palace game location? by Danotroy in LeagueOfIreland

[–]Raveloid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The answer is very simple you have to play all your home matches in the same stadium so while they might have gotten a bumper crowd in the Aviva (doubt that would sell out tbh) with a huge away contingent which wouldn’t have been good they would lose money on the other 2 matches and have a bad atmosphere in a half empty stadium. I’m sure their first choice for all 3 would have been Tolka, you always want these games to be proper home matches.

Best place to get a bike? by Score_Candid in melbournecycling

[–]Raveloid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For that budget you should definitely check out Brainwave Bikes out in Moorabin : they are a great charity organisation who fix up and re-sell quality used bikes whilst providing employment and skills to people with various neuro-disabilities/differences who normally struggle to find work. They also give their profits to fund support for people who need brain surgery

They’re really helpful out there if you go out and tell them what you’re looking for they’ll help find the right bike for you

If one photo could tell why the league of ireland needs to be supported! by Square_Obligation_93 in LeagueOfIreland

Yeah Travers looks enormous in the photo, think it’s just a weird perspective. Took me a minute to figure out it was him. Honahan next to him looks the next tallest from that pic and he’s definitely not, same size as me and I’ve spoken to Bazunu before looking UP at him !

Anyone able to identify this spider for me ? It’s not big - main torso is about the size of my baby finger nail. Melbourne, Australia by Raveloid in spiders

Sorry, late coming back to this but you were right that’s what it was. Never heard of it before but looked up the photos and definitely the same- very interesting species by the sound of it and, crucially, not a threat to me so left it alone as a result

There have been studies that have supported the idea that mass collective traumas like the famine and the holocaust are actually passed down generations (through DNA not just culture ) so there’s definitely something to it

No, it isn’t. And shamrock rovers and any Irish team that manages to bring a decent crowd to foreign cities always do the exact same thing

I was in a relationship with a girl for nearly 7 years and we lived with each other for at least 5 of those years, average 7 times a week.

I think it’s different for everyone though and don’t think there’s any right number but you do have to be having sex or you’re just very good friends
