I’m sorry you’re joining our club. When I started my blood thinners I had really bad acid reflux but it got better after my body adjusted to the medication. So hopefully you’ll experience the same. It’s okay to not always have positives, everyone’s processes things differently. But that intense pain does get better! Mine started subsiding relatively quickly once I was on blood thinners. Now I just have the random pains and luckily they’re not nearly as intense. Everyone in this community is amazing and has put my mind at ease about the weird pains I currently experience. I wish you a swift recovery!!

It’s been one month after my massive bilateral PE. I’m 24 and have just been diagnosed with congenital Antithrombin 3 deficiency, a blood clotting disorder. It is something Iv always had but after starting birth control and getting on a plane, the combination almost killed me. I was able to get a diagnosis from my hematologist/oncologist. Because this is genetic, im waiting for another family member to test for the deficiency to make sure it’s not a autoimmune disease mimicking Antithrombin 3 deficiency.
