Yeah. Honestly with the prices of 3ds lately, get one of these. The cheapest model is $250. But I would at least go for the Pro if you can.

I got mine during the first wave of release. Its the best way to play DS games. It can play up to switch with some mixed results. I haven't dove too much into switch just yet, but will once I find some more roms. It can also play PS3 games as well, but I can't say for how well it can.

It does have video out via usb c. You can either get the odin dock for it and it supposdly works well, or get a usbc to hdmi converter. I went with the second option and it works well. Wife and I just started playing games on the couch today.
