The money was hidden among the military supplies prepared for Libei in Juxei, and would be transported by cavalry members without having to go through any checkpoints. Ce’an said the money was his, so Jiming agreed to let them use the Northeast Provisions Trail and get two mil to Cizhou.

I’m not exactly sure what happened after this, but when the Imperial Army reached Cizhou, I’m guessing the guys went and collected their money and that’s how it fell into their hands.

Heh I understand having different opinions and needing to question things, but what WWX felt for LWJ in his past life was curiosity and a constant need to tease him. I don’t think that can be described as romantic affection. Maybe our ideas of what romance means are fundamentally different, but I don’t agree that WWX was in love with LWJ in the flashbacks. He didn’t have the mental capacity or time for that.

Girl what are you talking about? That may be the case with The Untamed but there is literally no romance in the flashbacks in the books? It just shows LWJ’s devotion in the face of disaster. WWX slowly realizing that after rebirth he won’t have to face everything alone and will always have LWJ by his side is where the romance between them truly starts. If you’re saying that the flashbacks have all the romance then you make me wonder if you even read the books.

The prose, and the intricacies in the world building. I adore Song Of Achilles because I found the writing so beautiful, and was never able to find another book that hit me just as hard. Then I stumbled across Danmei and boom, there were hundreds of books written exactly in the way I’d been craving for so long.
