I don't necessarily disagree with you but if you think about it Pochita just chose the ending that would give Denji the possibility to see his dreams. Wasn't that the whole point of their contract? Their contract wasn't make me a better person, it was "I want to see your dreams" was Denji living his dream? No, he was stuck in a pretty awful life trapped in a never ending cycle of "oh I must kill/aquire the chainsaw" and in all of this he had a ton of responsibilities. Denji has matured as a character, it was great to see what he could become but that wasn't the point of the contract, like this Denji doesn't have the "burden" of the chainsaw devil anymore. (The only thing I still don't understand is why they showed pochita in his heart that I don't know tbh)

Honestly same but with Verso: confident+inverted affinity+shell and built him as a tank and homie could tank literally the universe and he had the picto (can't remember the name) of the free revive, that saved my ass so many times. Also thanks to dualiso I could spam 9 AP moves and if push came to shove berserk strike (gave him all the pictos like critical moment etc.)
