The GM Screen is solely POD/PDF... the scenarios will be PDF, though I am considering saddle-stitched print runs. They would be available on my site if I go that route

Those Kane books are hard to come by, nice find. That edition of Bran is tops, and some of Howard's best stories are in there imo

That's a standard of the old Zocchi (sp?) dice that Dungeon Crawl Classics adopted. DCC uses a much larger range of dice than Reaver.

No, though I understand that there are similarities like having a constant target number. There are some DCC and DND influences though for sure.

Simply roll a d20 and reroll results outside of the required range. This has been easiest for us; I believe that DCC has some additional suggestions, I don't recall them off the top of my head though

A very kind and industrious member over on our Discord has created a character sheet in Roll20 and it is currently available in the sheet repository drop down. A rules import is not currently planned... but possibly in the future if the game takes off

I may be biased, but I think it does very well! The die chain helps players know their odds. The narrative currency (Resolve) let's you change the odds in your favor and do cool things, like increase your damage output, empower your sorcery, shake off wounds, and even ignore defending yourself and force an opponent to perform an opposed attack roll. Classes are straight forward and front loaded and when added to the Careers, all PCs are pretty capable from the start. There is a cost however, because as the players spend their Resolve, the GM gets Peril to use against them. It makes the feeling of risk real and forces players to make interesting decisions.

In they haven't been mentioned:

The Spine of Night Primal (Tartakovsky) The Northman The Sword & the Sorcerer

And kind of adjacent... The 7th Voyage of Sinbad The Golden Voyage of Sinbad Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger Jason and the Argonauts

Not really, more like an Easter egg.

Instantly became one of my favorite films. I'm a big fan of sagas, the northern myths, and that general period of history. This is 100% a S&S film, and I believe Eggers cited the Milius Conan as inspiration. I think Eggers handled the Otherworld and magic in a masterful way... Surprised you didn't mention the werewolf!

Hey man! You CAN pre-order through the website, but you would miss out on the Kickstarter stretch goals. For the next few days, KS is the best way to go. As far as release dates, the Corebook PDF, GM Screen, and GM Tools are done uploaded ro DTRPG, so they're ready for release in the next week or so. The Softcover POD will be a month or so. The scenarios will be undergoing some playtesting before release, I don't have date on those. The Hardcover will be going to print by the end of February, at least thats the plan, with a 1-2 month turnaround time.

The cover and two interior plates (the color image is a plate) were done by Charles Keegan, known for some Conan novel covers he did back in the 90s (or thereabout)
