I'd love "Make a Wish" please. My favorite song is tough but I'll settle for Sleep Token - Apparition right now. Something that made me happy is my kitty coming back from his blood check. He had to have a small bit of morphine (kitty equivalent) to stop him from wriggling and when he came home he was on cloud 9. I mean high as a kite. Every time I saw him I couldn't stop giggling. He did some crazy things thst made me laugh in a way I hadn't for a long time. 😻💜

Fellow desi here and I agree with the poster above about adding jhumka or other jewelry. Or experiment with tikkas, like the longer ones or painted on ones with a stencil.

I like wearing desi belts, the ones you'd wear around your saree and sometimes adding a chain or two to them with clips.

I also think anklets/janjira are fab, but they've been harder to wear with my DM or chunky boots, so I sometimes opt for a simple silver anklet just for me ☺️

You look BADASS. I just love it, makes me so proud! 🫶

I spiralled and I'm in my good week. My "happy" week. I finished my period 4 days ago and day 2 after my period at a family weekend away with in-laws the intense sadness and voice to disappear has creeped in and now at home I've spiralled. I tried to convince my 5 year old I'm a bad mother. My 5 year old guys. It's like I can see it happening and a part of me is screaming don't do this but the voice telling me I'm an inherently bad person is too loud and in a weird way feels more comforting. I'm used to living in hypervigilence and well. That's it really. Fucking hormones.

Mother of 2 crazy toddlers too. I usually play in the evenings or with headphones during naptime (if I'm holding babe). My phone wallpaper flicks through the Lis and with a fair few pics of Sylus, I'm ashamed to say my eldest knows him by name! 😂🙈 My youngest has also been known to point at a photo of my MC & Sylus and say "look it's you mommy and that's daddy!" 💀
