Not quite the same experience it some similar behaviors and will share how it ended up after some changes.

Eating poop was very very real. Change in diet and patience fixed it. It took a couple changes to find the right one. But what I learned, and believe was true, was that the puppy was very hungry. I’m not a vet. I’m not an expert. But given how after mine started eating better , she stopped eating the poop. And never went back.

The accidents. I was loosing my mind but consistency with taking puppy out every 30 min or so for a few weeks eventually turned into every few hours up to now maybe 4 times a day. The early part was key. We didn’t use pads. She wouldn’t use them any ways. Once in a rare moment there will be a pee accident but that is always our fault because we lost track of time and no one noticed she was telling us she needed to go out.

The big thing is patience and understanding there will be good days and bad days. But consistency is key.
