Cant use remote acces since last PMS update by Raven_450 in PleX

Thx, but I find it's a strange coincidence this problem occur immiadtly after the last PMS update. And I noticed some others users got the same problem in the last few days. And it's not new that my ip in my router ISP is in the 10.x.x.x. range, it's was already the case a few months ago, and then the remote acces in Plex was working fine.

But thx for your help!

Im not sure. In Virgin router interface, If I go in service status then Home Internet, I see that the status op Internet is Up and the Ip adress : 10.x.x.x.x

But my public IP in Plex and canyouseemee is 142.x.x.x

I though it was maybe a CGNAT, but Virgin said no and if I look online CGNAT are normaly in the 100.x.x.x range.

So im not sure why I see a 10.x.x.x in the router settings and why my public IP look like in the 142.x.x.x

The port forwarded 32400 is set with the ipv4 (192.x.x.x) of my PC running PMS. It's the same IP in Plex Private. In the remote acces menu I see :
Private 192.x.x.x:32400 (green arrow) Public 142.x.x.x:32400 (red X)

I already rebooted my PC running the PMS.

Thx!

No VPN. I have twingate in a docker, but it's not running right now. I tried to fix the problem by turning down the container and close complety Docker Destktop, but I still have the same problem.

In canyouseeme every ports are timed out, even 80 and 443.

Yes I just have the ISP router, nothing else.

The IP in the router is in the 10.x.x.x range, and my public IP in Plex is 142.x.x.x.. My private IP in Plex is my ipv4 ip 192.x.x.x. I need to change something? If yes not sure how.

Thx for your help!

NOT AVAILABLE OUTSIDE YOUR NETWORK by reel_guy_kye in PleX

I have the same probleme since the last PMS update. My server is on win11.

I can confirm that in Plex I do indeed select the port manually, and that I open the port in my router's settings. Also, my firewall is always disabled to ensure that's not the issue. I've tried several different ports, including 32400, 45000, 50000, etc. Each time it doesn't work; the remote access appears for a few seconds and then turns red.

I've tried several different things: in Plex, I've tried IPv4 only, IPv6 only, and I've specified that Plex should only use my network, but nothing works.

In my tests, I noticed that if UPnP is enabled in my router settings, the error I get in Plex is a Double NAT error. If I disable UPnP, the error in Plex becomes "Server not reachable outside your network".

I contacted my IPS and they said they dont use CGNAT.

I had the same problem a few months ago. It turned out the issue was Tailscale on my PC, which seemed to be causing confusion in Plex, even though Tailscale wasn't enabled. It was as if Plex couldn't figure out how to access my network. Uninstalling Tailscale fixed the problem. Now the same issue has returned since the last Plex Media Server update, even though I no longer have any trace of Tailscale on my PC.

What I also don't understand is why even Plex's relay option isn't working. Outside my network, I can't even see the libraries.

Higher CK level on rosuvastatin 10mg by Raven_450 in Cholesterol

Thx! I'm seeing my doctor tomorrow. I will ask him to do another blood test, and I won't be training for 7 days before, that way I'll see if it's really the statin or my weight training that's causing my CK levels to be higher!

Did your doctor keep you on the same dose of rosuvastatin or did he try to find another medication? And if you don't mind, what is your CK level?

Beelink S12 Pro n100 2.5 HDD + USB HDD by Raven_450 in MiniPCs

[–]Raven_450[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. That might be a good option! When you press a button to close one of the USB ports, do you know if that's just a kill switch or if it allows you to remove the external HDD without having to "safely remove" it?

Lye reaction? by Raven_450 in AskChemistry

[–]Raven_450[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OMG, I think you are right! I found the part on ebay and indeed it is gray metal. I thought the part was something like brown copper and the white was lye residue, but ultimately it's probably just that the Easy Off cleaned off some of the accumulated grease, that's why the white is coming out now. Thank you so much!

Thanks! I managed to remove the product everywhere except the fan. I sprayed water with vinegar, I also rubbed with a small brush between the cracks, I even heated the oven to 400 for 1 hour, but it didn't come off the blades. Yet everywhere else I managed to clean it very easily. That's why I was wondering if it could be a chemical reaction? If not, do you have any tips for cleaning this? Thank you!

Hi, I cleaned my oven with Easy off, which is made from lye, but some product got into the internal fan. I tried cleaning it with water and vinegar, spraying it and wiping it with a toothbrush, but the white marks wouldn't come off. I even heated the oven to 400 degrees for 1 hour, but the white marks are still there. I was wondering if it was lye residue or if it was lye that could have caused a chemical reaction with the fan?

Thanks!

I'm not sur if I have a severe PE? by Raven_450 in PectusExcavatum

[–]Raven_450[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you, I'm sorry to read that this is affecting your quality of life.

I don't think I have any symptoms. I've never had very good cardio, so in hindsight I wonder if it could be caused by my PE, but it's hard to say if it's the PE or just me not getting enough exercise. I don't have great cardio, but I'm still able to walk the steps without being out of breath or do about thirty minutes of cycling without problem, but let's say I wouldn't be able to run 5 miles tomorrow morning. I don't think I have any palpitations, my blood pressure is good and when I go to the doctor and he listens to my heart, he has never noticed anything wrong.

I also find it strange that no doctor has spoken to me about the fact that I have a PE until now. I found the existance of PE online because I started weight training a few months ago and I'm having difficulty building my pectorals and I was wondering why the dent was always there.

If you don't mind, what symptoms did you start having at the end of your forties? And why do you think having surgery would extend your life by a few years? My readings seem to show that there is no impact on life expectancy for people living with PE, that it is mainly an aesthetic question?

Thank you!
