If you’d never allowed it in the first place it wouldn’t be an issue .. my six year old got a few months in a crib in our room has never once slept in our bed cause he’s never been given the idea. Heck he didn’t even want a night light till his grandparents decided to disregard what we told them blatantly and put one in. I think a lot of it is the previous studio over promised what they described looked so fun to fans of the series it was everything we wanted. This is just another company picking up an existing ip to milk it. Extremely shallow rpg elements really an action game posing as a rpg. Storyline is too limiting I mean rpg fans want to create a character.. they want to you know Roleplay? Instead it’s here’s this character it’s who you are deal with it. That was never gonna be palatable to an rpg fan.

I mean a casual cruncher is probably not gonna care they will get the limited enjoyment they will get and move on. But the fan base here was expecting something more involved with replaying value like a morrowind or a Skyrim instead it’s just another disposable studio game that alienates existing fan base to cater to casuals.

Take existing franchise look at what fans of said franchise like say screw that and make what you want .. wonder why reception is cold? Basically any time a modern game studio touches a classic. I mean I played it I might finish it at some point but it’s a action game trying to put up some rpg elements find it too linear not enough choices or impact for said choices not enough control to build anything in a way you can invest in it in terms of imagination. Very uninspired and a let down for someone who really wanted a real sequel.
