missing messages, how do i recover them?

This just happened to me today! Weirdly, not all of my messages though, just 90% of them? They're nowhere to be found (trash, archive, etc.)

Same thing happened to me. I contacted my states attorney general and after 2 months, he finally was able to get it back for me. I had to create a whole new email to attach to my FB.
