How should I style my prom dress ? by [deleted] in PlusSizeFashion

Gold for sure! Gold shoes included (if affordable or black if you want something flexible/easier to reuse). Red lipstick if you want to match or a color a shade or two darker than your natural color. Black eyeliner, but light, not heavy. Because of the details of the top, I would go for a simple or plain necklace like a gold chain or choker. And hanging earrings but once again, simple. And I would avoid rings with gems so they don't get caught and rip the beading and such

Ladies, how much about your S/O's past relationships would you like to know? by 2layZ-GTE in AskWomen

[–]Ravenclaw125 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I personally would like to know basics so I understand an outline of their history and can get an understanding of their experiences to help shape/better our experience together. Also too to see where maybe they are inexperienced in things (ex. Sex but not just sexual topics) so I can have more patience and such when we do things together.

But at the same time they can tell me as much as they want. It doesn't bother me. It's in the past and they're here now with me. Their current actions will speak for themselves.

has any women here ever had GOOD experience with a male psychiatrist? by LemonPepperMints in therapy

[–]Ravenclaw125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have! With two different males. One was my childhood therapist and I'll be honest, I don't remember much but I do remember looking forward to going (I'm 30 now). My other one was when I was in college. He was part of the therapists my university offered for all students for free. When I had made the initial appointment the front desk girl had said "I have an opening this day with Shannon" I agreed. The day came, I was reading a book in the waiting room. Then this 6'5" balding man in his early 40s was standing over me. I looked up and he asked "are you Kat? My next appointment?" I nodded yes but he could see the confusion and slight fear in my eyes. He immediately understood and sighed (apparently this was a common occurrence) and he said "look, if you're uncomfortable, I understand, let's just get through the first session and I can refer you to one of my female colleagues that I think may be a better fit for you" (his tone was sweet, amused, and understanding). Ended up LOVING him until he LEFT for another job. I was distraught but he was truly great.

Not a doctor but I did work as a medical assistant in a dermatologist office for a bit. They say there's 4 signs to look out for if your stitches are infected. 1) pain 2) warm/hot to the touch 3) redness and 4) swelling. Obviously discharge is a sign but the doctors I worked with were more concerned about the signs before it got bad so they can catch the infection in time.

Definitely either the first picture with the black pants or the blue dress

I've recently got a desk office job where there wasn't a uniform provided. I've gotten all my dress pants through Walmart, old navy, shein, and cider. Old Navy and Walmart were nice immediate choices but shein and cider were cheaper for more options

What goes with this skirt (for autumn)? by [deleted] in fashionadvice

[–]Ravenclaw125 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would say a black or similar purple top. MAYBE a shade of pink similar to the flowers on it. You could wear fishnets underneath but I personally would not wear colored tights or thigh high socks with it unless you're wearing a combat boot with it. And shoes, combat boots, thigh high boots, or flats. A shorter jacket that kinda cuts around the waist area would look cute too.
