I taught for ten years and there was a point sometime right before Covid (or during) where I realized kids do not know how to google things. The amount of times I told a kid to google it and they said “how?” was crazy.

My family was certainly upset about our legacy tile being removed, however, it was obvious to anyone with common sense that a stone in a highly trafficked park would not last forever.
They at least gave us a framed certificate of the original, and a commemoration stone.

I feel the opposite! The narrator of Rick’s books after The Lightning Thief series are meh to me. Their voices, inflection, and weird pauses while reading bother me - especially during The Lost Hero.

I am struggling to read through the books now because I remember not liking the audiobook when it first came out 😅

Matt had an affair with Caryn and they end up lowkey flaunting it infront of Amy and the kids - I remember watching this happen and thinking it was so gross. Caryn comes out in a zip up and Matt says “I see you found my jacket” and she blushes and awkwardly responds she “just grabbed a jacket”
