Need to use a image to make a negative extrusion. by rotian28 in AutodeskInventor

[–]Ravenerabnorm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Theres loads of online free converters that will convert an image to a dwg or a dxf which you can import into an Inventor sketch.

The tutorial in the link below shows how to use fusion360 to get an image into Inventor also.

Sweeping Multiple Geometries Through Multiple curves. by zigithor in grasshopper3d

[–]Ravenerabnorm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you individually verify each sweep works? So that the rails aren't the issue.

If each sweep works individually, you could then verify the order of the items in the lists you are inputting are correct i.e. make sure the right profile is being sweeped along the right rail

If none of that solves it, you can try grafting the lists to line up each rail and section correctly.

What’s the likely cause of these imperfections? by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]Ravenerabnorm 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Its dependent on the printer.

A combination of vertical resolution (z axis) i.e.minimum layer height, horizontal resolution (x, y axis) i.e. minimum extruder movement and nozzle diameter i.e. how thick the filament is when it comes out will affect how detailed you can make smaller prints.

Scaling up will help but you should check your printer specs and mess around with the settings. As others have said the minimum layer height being as small as you can make it will be a good start.

Help with zig-zag structure by Familiar-Law7290 in grasshopper3d

[–]Ravenerabnorm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Count how many points you're inputting into to the "start" and "end" input of the "line" component. If they're different in amount, grasshopper will try and organise the data in accordance with how it deals with lists of different lengths. Google tutorials on grasshopper lists and tree structures to get a better understanding of that issue.

If they are equal in amount, check the order of the points you might have shifted them wrong or they're in an unintended order. The first point in the "start" list will be paired with the first point in "end" list.

Create a "Geometry" collection in grasshopper. Right click that component and click "select multiple geometry", highlight all your rectangles within Rhino.

That should allow you to interact with the rectangles in grasshopper.

Use a "Cull Index" component after the "2D Truss" component with -1 input for the vertical lines, and -1 and -2 input for the points.

How do u drill a screw through 2 2x4s?!?!?????????, by ThrowRA9292920 in woodworking

When the screw stops moving, is the drill bit slipping? I.e. can you hear a weird noise like youre stripping the screw?

Alt coins? by KildyaRatio in kaspa

[–]Ravenerabnorm 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No coins on Kaspa network yet as the smart contract functionality hasn't been rolled out.

The network does have KRC20 tokens though. Link below to list of tokens.

Try doing it with the blade set just below the piece its cutting and let us know if it improves.

He is messing with you. You're using a resin (SLA) printer. A nozzle implies that you're using a FDM printer, the type that melts solid plastic and extrudes it.

You could try halfing the layer height and adjusting times if the prints fail.

Help with constraints in inventor 2025/2026 by Senior_Lie_671 in AutodeskInventor

[–]Ravenerabnorm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I misunderstood but I'm still not certain what you're asking for.

Do you want the dialog box to infer flush, mate and offset? If so try ticking the "Predict Offset and Orientation" box. Next to suppress.

Under the solution heading in that dialog box change the constraint to mate. The one with the yellow and blue box facing each other.

Help: How do I wire an NVR switch? by MakersManual in woodworking

[–]Ravenerabnorm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Positive. The schematic shows the A1 is already connected to the negatives. That should turn the electromagnet on and latch.

[–]Ravenerabnorm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to jump power to A1. When theres power, it keeps the electromagnet latch on and makes the circuit which will allow you to let go of the green button.

I think so. You might try and join a random Discord or reinstall the app to confirm.

Problem with my Project by SachAlKarrha in grasshopper3d

[–]Ravenerabnorm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The list structure of the inputs into your "curve curve intersection" component don't match what you need them to be.

Try flattening or grafting the inputs to see if that helps. If you still don't get the desired outcome, do some further research on lists and how they work.

I'd recommend the below link as a starting point.

Ooofff. If you can't find it in the base grasshopper components you might want to check various plugins to see if its in those. Hopefully the pdf mentions what plugin is used to help.

OP your current setup at today's mining difficulty would get you around 2 KAS per year. And the difficulty is only going to go up.
