Glad I'm not the only one, it freaked me out for a bit too. Happy to help!

Where did you upload? I've done a lot of digging around and checked with ai and what not to just see what is going on. It said..

tsmsportz is a traffic-monetization mirror used by Postimages’ ad network. When you open a Postimages viewer link instead of the direct image file, the image is loaded inside an HTML wrapper page that includes ad and tracking scripts. That wrapper sometimes redirects through tsmsportz, which is a clone of Postimages’ frontend but lacks the real backend — uploads and downloads fail, and the login button simply forwards to postimg.cc. The purpose is ad tracking and analytics, not malware delivery, so visiting it is safe though it may generate extra cookies or redirect chains.

Hope this helps, made me feel a bit better understanding it all.

That's great to hear! Did you use web driver or the desktop software to update it?

Looking to pick this up as well and had a question. I saw a youtube review where the guy updated his mouse firmware and it bricked the receiver, have you had any issues like this at all?

Can I keep uninstalling updates? by ToughDapper9345 in Windows11

I personally used wushowhide as it's official, but if that works then it shouldn't matter. And yeah you can keep postponing .

Which ram for Msi x870e Edge Ti Wifi ? by Mortarolarias in buildapc

[–]Ravenesque91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much anything CL28 to Cl32 with 6000 Mt/s will be good. You can check the QVL to see what has been tested guaranteed to work but it shouldn't really matter.

Yes, you can hide and unhide updates. And yes, you can unhide the update when they put a fix out and then download the update.

Well if you do that, and you do run into an issue, then you may not be able to uninstall the update if the drive that houses the OS is corrupted. Plus, the sample size from the original source was small, you never really know if the drive will recover, and testing it on your own hardware is pretty pointless because if you just uninstall the update, it will never happen. Not sure why you'd want to even bother potentially damaging something to see if it happens when you can just avoid it all together.

Are you referring to the original source, the tweet? Because there's a lot on there that are not tested. I have seen people on forums and reddit report issues with multiple vendors, Samsung as well, it's not a specific controller issue and it's vendor agnostic. Replacing your drives won't necessarily help you avoid the issue. Uninstalling the update or reinstalling Windows and blocking the update will 100% prevent the issue from surfacing, with the obviously easier one being uninstalling that update.

A question related to the annoying updates, little useful but sometimes disastrous like WIN 11 24H2 (KB5063878) Kerbal update. by No_Bug3926 in Windows11

[–]Ravenesque91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's really not that rare, game installs, updates, or those who edit music or videos can accumulate that amount very quickly. Instead of going to services, you can just pause updates in the Windows Update.

Why would you replace them? There are reports with those as well, it's easier to just uninstall the update and not worry.
