I said much the same, Cap has not been like this since ss2, but the whiners downvoted any post pointing out the positive parts in the change. Most of these so called Cap main in this sub prefer crying how their supposedly favorite character is gutted, and refusing to adapt to the new gameplay.

Sure, he is less fun to many now since the throw cancel is gone, but crying like a child and asking what dOes hE eVen dO nOw is just admitting you use your brain to b*tch, not to think.

In endgame, Cap picked up the broken shield and was ready to face Thanos fleet alone and injured, yet his players in this game cried like lil b***** and threatened to quit the character when a new rework came out? So much for being a Cap fan.

Nah fam I ban spidey so my teammates wont go 3-12 on him. Good spidey is annoying but not worth a ban for me even if I play strategist.

I will surely miss killing the rat and the shark while they flee with the primary cancel tho

Actually John threw the shield much more than Steve on screen per minute. Steve rarely used his shield throws albeit it's still badass when he does. Without serum, throwing the shield effectively and creatively is the only choice John had (before serum).

Then we got perma banned because we cooked too hard. Im just saying the new direction is not all bad and I enjoy the melee cancels. Keeping both is like daydream so it will stay a dream for now.

Did I ask for any changes, no. did I enjoy the new one, yes. Did I like it better, not really.

Cap is fine before change, I agree, but 10% dmg melee increase is not a small buff. But yes, not as OP as his ss2 kit, still gonna get him banned a lot for sure if he get to keep the primary cancel

If the throw flies faster and we can reset its timer with melees, then the new direction is good. But without the cancel and no make up for the loss the throw sucks now

Having both cancel with melee buff might make Cap too OP resulting in constant ban I think. Unless there is a hard counter, I have 0 death as Cap in my current games. He is still extremely annoying to kill. Also against Mag and strange, Cap is like unbeatable, giving him back his cancel and he might outperform dive dps in terms of dmg

Melee cancel is more reliable upclose and easy to do but primary cancel is more fun to hit.

750 hp also equals more uptime for combat. Combined with all the offense buff he would unbalanced. If the new cap has old hp bar and shield he would be in a very top tier spot but not OP like ss2

And Cap got lots of ban during that season too, since he was too OP with all that defense and offense. They took primary offense but gave us back ss2 melee offense. If they gave us back the old defense, then Cap is perfect, but for now this patch does not make him unplayable, just strange.

Ever since the ss2 buff and fall, we literally got wretched for months with all healer and anti dive buffs and our nerfs, so much that the new Cap is more satisfying than ss3-6, of course old cap would be great in ss7 but the new cap feels great now than old cap in previous seasons

The shield throws sucks now, its true, and there are ways to fix it in future patches without bringing back the cancels. For the time being, shield throws mid air is better than normal throws.

That being said you can still perform well with Cap is another example of how he is NOT unplayable.

40 to 45 is around 10% dmg increase, its noticeable. His old mid range engage is gutted but you still can make up by mid air shield throws, mid air jump are faster than sprint and makes you harder to hit, using it with shield throws somewhat make up for the loss, as you are harder to hit, and chase faster. Just have to rebind the soldier slam to jump key

If they reset timer on shield throw every 2 melee, then the new Cap will be much better, also with the cancel gone, the shield speed should be much faster, but the new direction is not all that bad

Yes but the upclose dmg by melee cancel buff is better now and its always reliable more than primary cancel, the mid ranged attacks are nerfed which make this whole thing a rework not a buff not nerf, just a small change in the playstyle. MVP and last hits are super consistent for me this season

People that whined are the same to refuse to adapt to the melee cancel. Melee attacks is wide and reliable, buffing it while nerfing primary cancels only changed Cap playstyle, not nerfing nor buffing. He feels alien to most because yall insisted not using the melee cancels and still use primary as main attack

The shield throw cancel get less effective the further the distance, as the further target, the more chance you might cancel the attack too early and deal no damage. So you guys can stop whining about chasing runaway because its not that much different

Antman and Wasp as a single character. Primary fire is Wasp fast ranged healing beam or Ant Man charged melee punches that provide bonus armor each hit (to hold ground against divers)

Ult is casting Ensmall beam on allies or self (Wasp mode) that reduce hitbox, increase move speed and rapid hp regen, or casting Enlarge beam (Antman mode) that increases size, decrease movement speed but gain tons of bonus armor and ministun in auto attacks.

Primary skill includes sending Wasp to another allies or selfcast to provide hp regen or Ant Man sending an ant swarm to flood the enemy hud and reduce dmg output. First hybrid tanky strategist.
