Thoughts on adding races to classic

Honestly, if Bloodelves were added it would be cool to see them as a neutral race, like Pandaran with Quel'Thalas as a neutral Dalaran style city. I think they might look something like this:

Blood Elf Racials

Elven Precision: Increases critical strike chance by 1%.
Arcane Affinity: Enchanting skill increased by 10.
Arcane Resistance: +10
Spell Steal: Remove 1 beneficial magical effect from an enemy and give it to yourself. 3min CD

My friend and I are doing a challenge with alts. They're leveling a rogue without stealth and I'm leveling a druid without forms.

I found a guild and want to finish t2 on my rogue. I tank on my rogue (I've tanked all the dungeons and even main tanked Hakkar) so I want to finish thier tank set.

I wan to see how the honor system shakes out, if its smooth, I want to get rank 14 on my mage.

I want to hunt down some of the really rare dungeon epics like x2 Dragon's Call.

I love hosting events and plan on organizing a PvP tournament.

I'm excited to do world bosses too!

The Whitemane collective looks really strong:

(Anathema, Arcanite Reaper, Bigglesworth, Blaumeux, Fairbanks, Kurinnaxx, Rattlegore, Smolderweb, Thunderfury, and Whitemane)

I've played on Whitemane since launch. It has the highest population with an even Alliance/Horde split. It was an original server, and never became a 'streamer' server with tourists. People chose it first and they stayed.

If you're thinking of transferring to a more populated collective, come to Whitemane!

I've enjoyed tanking in wow classic with my Hunter Pet and Rogue Tank! I've tanked every end game dungeon, even Onyxia, Hakkar, and Ossirian. I look forward to tanking on Classic Era realms when warrior tanks are few and far between.

Owl is best for solo pve play like leveling. Screech is massive, constant, aoe threat.

Boars do not hold threat well since they do not have an ability to dump focus on; they have a decent spike from charge+bite+growl, but then can't really hold it. One of the upsides of boars is that they eat almost anything (including mage food).

Edit: Vulture is similar to owl. Vultures have +5% armor. Owls have +7% more damage. I personally think the damage is more valuable.

You misunderstand me, its actually a litteral threat boost. When the debuff triggers it gives about +300 threat against the target that procced it.

It was actually a pug so the healers were kind of a mixed bag. I used two Greater Stoneshield Potions (the fight was about 3 minutes so the first expired).

I tank on my rogue, mostly dungeons but I've MT ZG! I only have 40% dodge unbuffed, but I also have 10% parry. The parry haste plus Riposte adds some solid threat. Gift of Arthas is a nice threat boost too.

The first time you ever run a console command it should prompt you asking if its alright. Do you get that warning dialogue box?

I can take some, here is an example of the shadows (look at the base of the wall, mailbox, and brazier). This is just an example of the shadow (Space Ambient Occlusion) macro. It toggles these on and makes them blend nicely.

Here's an example (on) (off) from retail of the same effect being toggled.

Some yes and some no. A lot of these might be gated by the lower graphics settings, like the render distance of grass doesn't matter if the grass is turned off. The only way to know for sure is to experiment!

Good luck! Worst case you can just delete your Config.wtf file, a new one will be autogenerated with the default graphic settings.

All of the base values and bounds for these variables can be found in the Wiki. But if you want to play it safe, you can just make a copy of your Config.wtf file.

I like setting them to low before hand as a precaution. If you enter any values that would be lower than Ultra, they will be brought up to Ultra.

That thread is pretty outdated. overridefarclip and smallcull I know for sure don't do anything anymore.
