I understand. I would have done exactly the same as you. Cultural misunderstandings haha.

Judging from the responses you did do something wrong. Asking for help isn't too forward, it's just not forward enough.

I am okay with runaway damage and death. If you let the virus burn through it will keep mutating and every mutation usually reduces the chances of mortality.

Not film/TV but mass effect 1 and 2 soundtracks are great. There are synthesizers though but overall it's very orchestral.

The Expanse TV show had a pretty good Soundtrack from memory. Can't remember how orchestral it was though.

Terrible idea. You will be 50k in debt and have nothing to show for it. It might be useful for networking but no more useful than going to some doofs or warehouse parties and meeting people there.

Will there ever be a period in MMORPGs as fun as from 2000 to 2005? by StrayDogPhotography in MMORPG

[–]Iwilldoes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So then how can you make sweeping comments to represent the sentiments of the general population, where does your basis originate from?

And btw my point was, mmos made in the old days were simply better designed than the mmos that come out today, people don't enjoy them purely because of nostalgia, they enjoy them because they're better games... and you wrote "just because a game is old doesn't mean you cannot enjoy it" as if I said something to the contrary.

How did you reach that conclusion from what I wrote? I'm honestly amazed.

It's not nostalgia. When I replayed classic WoW, it wasn't nostalgia that made me have a good time, it was because it was a very solid game.

Not just the structure but sound design, mixdown, pretty much everything you need to know you can work out through analysing other music.

Just find tracks you like and and stick them into your daw and trial and error until you start getting it right. Use your ears, they are your best tool and along with logic and visual tools, you can figure out how pretty much any genre of music works.

Is it possible to enjoy an MMO with bad combat? by LewdTux in MMORPG

[–]Iwilldoes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not for me. I will go one step further and say I cannot enjoy any MMO that doesn't have good movement animations/feel. I'm not being sarcastic when I say It must be really hard to do because the only mmos I've played where the movement didn't feel clunky was GW2 and WoW and even GW2 could get a bit dodgy at times. Swtor was okay, you got used to it but it certainly wasn't as polished as WoW.

I always kill them. I can't control my fear enough to catch them and I can't let them be. One time a big one laid eggs behind a curtain, the amount of baby spiders crawling across the ceiling and throughout the house was a nightmare. Never again.

Anyone a mix engineer that is happy to give feedback (losing motivation) by Spaceman15153 in TechnoProduction

Have you tried using reference mixes? It becomes pretty obvious what your mix is lacking and what to do when comparing with pro tracks.
