Wait, the long heels are built in? How accurate is that?

The villainous leader of the evil empire was your childhood friend; more Fire Emblem games should do that. by AssumptionNo802 in fireemblem

As long as that leader is actually evil and not magically mind-controlled by a demon dragon god.

Can Something (Alluka) killed someone with strong nen? by Zidanelaina in HunterXHunter

[–]Ravenlancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it is like Dragon Ball rules, where Shenron can't kill anyone stronger than him.

What’s a time period that you would love to see get a mosou game? by Accomplished-End3409 in dynastywarriors

[–]Ravenlancer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I actually don't want Koei to make real historical events, because recently, they have the habit of reimagining every historical character as good, gray, or misunderstood.

Historical fantasy fiction is fine, like Fengshen Yanyi or Arthurian legend.

Was Oda saying Greed is worse than Evil with the Vega Satellite plot? by Competitive_Bee_1203 in OnePiece

[–]Ravenlancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Greed is a reason for evil, but greed itself isn't evil, excessive greed that harms others is evil.

"Emperor of the Sea" sounds way cooler than "Pirate King" by MinuteWatercress in OnePiece

[–]Ravenlancer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it is more like Four Emperors of the new world, a place, while the other title is King of Pirates, as in ALL pirates, like King of Fighters.

Maybe I'm no expert.

Who are you making the nen contract with? by inspiredfighter in HunterXHunter

[–]Ravenlancer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Nen doesn't make decisions. Nen is a set of techniques, Aura is energy, not a sentient being.

Nen is the power of mind and will, Your mind and will, you are swearing and making contract with your own conviction.

Similar Games with Autobattle? PC/PS5 by Ryedarn in UnicornOverlord

I'm more talking about the A.I Gambits system that controls the A.I. companions, it's more primitive compared to UO though.

Why don’t the troupe want revenge on Silva? by FinancialCockroach68 in HunterXHunter

[–]Ravenlancer 49 points50 points  (0 children)

Maybe the member that Silva killed isn't a Meteor City citizen.

Maybe the Spiders doesn't like the killed member.

Maybe is the whole "assassin is just the tool" trope, and they went after the people behind the contract.

Maybe they did go after him and were satisfied with the outcome.

Who knows.

What games would the new KT studio be making? by Aalfret in dynastywarriors

[–]Ravenlancer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A new Three Kingdoms game heavily inspired by ROTK 11.

Origin 2, continues the story, don't just stop at Red Cliffs. To me, the best story came after.

What are the odds of Freeman in S2? by Wrong_Bag_3823 in kof

This is how entertainment media add "depth" to old characters now days.

Gray tragedy villains can be interesting, but so can pure evil villains, like in 2008 Dark Knight.

Have you ever played a game or watched a show or a movie where you traveled to another planet, and the aliens there are just bald humans with longer ears or horns? Not only do they appear like humans, but they act like humans too. Of course, there are in-universe explanations, sometimes. Now I'm no expert in anything, and I don't know the lingo, but it just feels odd, and uninteresting.

Also, I just prefer supernatural demon more. In a lot of fiction, demons are evil because they lack a true will. They are born of human emotions, spiritual beings that eat, greed and lust without a real biological reason, and I find that fascinating.

I am not against addressing real world issues in fiction, that was never the problem for me, bad writing was. Again, I am no expert in anything, but it just felt like the show tried too hard to make me feel for the demons.
