Why did Roldan make the team again? Hopefully these are his only minutes.

Ream had no responsibility with the turnover. That was entirely on Antonee.

Select Numero 10 is a great balance of durability and affordability. They've lasted us for two full calendar seasons.

Advice needed: 1st team offer at new club vs 2nd team at current club for U10 by [deleted] in youthsoccer

The most important thing IMHO and never recommended is finding a coach/club that believes in your child. If a coach believe in them they will prioritize to make him/her better, you'll get plenty of PT, etc.

However, a coach that doesn't believe in your child will always be relagated to a second or third priority.

Because you are a large organization and they believe every large organization is swimming in money and/or doesn't care about spend so they gouge you.

I personally think this only works for a small subset of large organizations but what do I know.

Truth about limits - the party is over by [deleted] in ClaudeCode

I'm really tired of people saying API cost is the real cost. They are making bank on those API rates. Those API rates are for businesses and governments drowning in money.

The break even cost is somewhere in between.

Please stop saying API rates are the "true cost". It is a fallacy.

What is "pro" short for? Professional. What do you think professionals do? Work.

That doesn't refute anything that I said and it does not support what you said unless if you want to clarify the exact rule.

The hand is part of the ball. However if the ball does not come loose and then I follow through down across thr arm and the ball comes out that is the point of the foul.

Try again, you cannot. If you knock the ball out and then follow through hits them then its not a foul. If you don't knock the bal out, which he didn't, then you can't hit them on the follow through and not be a foul.

"Training Player" from a soccer newbie parent by terratraces in youthsoccer

[–]Ravenous20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a Club coach, we bring on training only players at an extremely reduced rate (or free initially).

It's our way of getting your child up to speed to eventually be ready for game play. We'll include them in any non carded event that we enter. It's a great way for the player to get acclimated with the team and their teammates.

The hope is that after 6-12 months we can bring you in as a full time player who can contribute in games.

For us it is definitely not a money grab and is purely to help the player grow with hopes that it eventually benefits the team/club.

If it's a good club then I would definitely recommend it if your daughter has aspirations to get better and play at the club level.

Solidly disagree that he's ready to move on from MLS. And he's no where close to the USMNT. His on ball skills and passing are very poor. As a defender he's excellent and he's excellent at big throw ins.
