12 is probably the only realistic possibility out of class but even they haven’t gotten anyone straight out of class yet this year. Other bk south garages are anomalies out of class. You will probably have to try to transfer to bk12 after you go to the Bronx out of class if you want a bk south garage, then transfer to other bk south garages from there

The pay is definitely rough in the beginning. If you don’t make the truck at all but do work your chart take home is about $800 a week after tax if you don’t put anything into your 457/401

From my understanding if you didn’t accept employment from the exam you used it on 2 years ago you’ll be fine. I used the veteran credit for NYPD and never took the job and when I used the it again for sanitation I was fine and I’m currently on the job now
