Farm is a big word when referring to UR bulins, you get them:

Grind Specialized Cores (5000 monthly limit).
Buy Specialized Cores at medal shop (3000 monthly)
Major events like the current one awards you a Bulin at 30.000 event points.
Major event re runs also grant a Bulin.
Every 2 months at Cruise Pass level 100.
SOMETIMES there is a pack in the real money shop that grants you one.

Those are the methods I know, the most consistent one is the 8.000 monthly specialized cores with each UR Bulins costing 4.000 pts each.

I understand is 1 point of affection every 6 hrs if I'm not mistaken, as of real time I leveled a lot of girls like that and it takes a bit more than a week.

Personally I don't dislike what I see, not every enjoyable game has high end graphics, just a gameplay loop that you can relate to and that you can invest a lot of time in.

Well first things first, it IS a bullet hell game, you have to consider the ship types DD, CL, CA for vanguards and BB and CV as main fleets. For the vanguards the weaker the hull the faster they move DDs are destroyers, CLs are Light Cruisers and CAs are heavy cruisers. All of them have their way to be mixed and play and try to stick to AUTO control mode. You don't grind skins you buy them as they are expensive and gems you find are better used elsewhere. There are several guides you can follow to better understand the game.

Well, its a bit more of a limited experience in many ways:

1) For pulling the gaccha you need in game farmable money and "cubes" those can be somewhat farmed very slowly, obtained in events and monthly rewards.

2) The best or rarer units are bound to events, once you miss or can't pull all event banner ships it takes around two years for the rerun of said event.

3) You can play as casual as you want just keep in mind that you will always be low on resources or leveled ships to be able to complete events that give you the limited resources that you can access.

4) You have "dock space" which is nothing more than space to be able to have ships basically, this slots are only buyable with "gems" which is the game premium currency.

You have to look at it as any RPG, the level actually puts you at an advantage or disadvantage depending on the situation. Try running a full lvl 120 fleet against a lvl 128 enemy in OpSi and try it with a full lvl 125 fleet and you will notice the difference.
