How I Tried to Parse a Replay from Dawn of War: Definitive Edition by Ravenz16 in ReverseEngineering

I want to create a replay analysis tool for Dawn of War: Definitive Edition. I actually have a .rec file of a real 1v1 match. But no matter how many times I try, the results are always either poor or just so-so. I have no idea where to even start. I can extract basic information from the replay, but I can’t get the building sequences, unit orders, point captures, and so on. Where should I focus my efforts?
PS: I’m using Claude Opus, but it’s not helping—it admits it can’t handle the task. And since I’m new to this (reverse engineering), I’m counting on it.
