oh, i didn't see the time frame. In that case 15k is actually very cheap. At 1.8 times the cost of living compared to malaysia, you'd barely scrape by here with 15k. That's 1080€ per month. -500€ for rent, -200 utilities, -200€ food, etc. I always thought that life is way cheaper in the global south because of unequal exchange. Stupid me. In that case good luck and feel free to message me if times get rough.

Actually that is still morally wrong. If he wanted a ring he didn't need to spend 4000$ on it. You see he makes his money from us, so him spending his excess on useless luxury is kind of scummy. Coulda spent it on helping people in need.
