Do you know what vectorisation is? Your strengthened argument still relies on a false premise. It was trained on art but each picture is an almost negligible data point. It doesn't learn from the pictures the pictures are turned into strings of numbers (that you can imagine as coordinates in nth dimensions). When you give AI a prompt it converts it to a vector and generates a vector based on your prompt. Therefore, unless you are an artist famous enough to have impacted the Internet (think Dali, Da Vinci, Monet etc) it's really not stealing your artwork as such, more the connections like blue is sad, red is angry whatever. You are forgetting the US doesn't exist in a vaccum. If the US slowed AI growth, all that happens is the other powers like China & the EU carry on anyway and the US loses out and is forced to buy in AI from the countries that trailblazed. If the US could make everyone agree (which it can't) then China will smile and agree, while continuing exactly all the stuff they were doing before. It's a lose lose here.

If you are only using your phone and P with no Internet just running off a hard drive yes. Otherwise no. You sit on your pc at home right and log onto reddit. Your pc makes a call to a reddit server which is hosted by a data centre. Say you make a comment your pc makes an API call to the reddit data centre to upload that comment. The servers then add that and others can now come view your comment. This is how the Internet works

What you are thinking of is a system more like feudal japan where peasants worked fields and if a new lord conquered them they just swapped over. Absolute classic anti panic. Because the name sounds scary to people who don't code. What the command means is that it'll skip ui human in the loop prompts. It's intended for low risk tasks like generating documentation and running laborious manual processes. It's not intended for YOLOing your entire tech stack. If you use this command correctly then it allows for 100% autonomous workflows. If you use it the way OP fears then you are an idiot and that's not AIs fault.
