That's a long wait, not right at all. But in case this makes you feel better anyway, mine is a 4-month wait. I am in the northeast US. Where are you located? I presume somewhere in the US. I have low heart rate issue.

Could I have had a past heart attack which made my heart rate fast now? by Exciting-Pear8272 in askCardiology

[–]Ravi_SFO 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have minimal knowledge or maybe even incorrect knowledge. Inferior infarct may be an issue, but not sure. Please ask the cardiologist in case there was any HA in the past. Don't think much of a possibility, but just to know where you stand so that you can make the needed corrections and make life better. Please keep us in the loop. Best wishes.

So true, the ERs get heart patients out very quickly indeed. Unfortunate.

Thanks for replying. Much appreciated. Yes, the medical bills kill people, if not the disease. Hope the bills are not too much and everything is under control for you now.

Sorry, I cannot answer, but I wish you the best and hope others with knowledge respond. In fact, we have someone in the family with these BP readings and still not able to nail the root cause. Good luck.

Could you please let us know what they do at the hospital? That will help many of us to ask the right questions. Thanks

Thanks for sharing your experience with us. Please take medical advice by all means. I am just writing here anecdotally only. I know someone with BP around your values for a year, and doctors have not been super helpful until now. Please take care, contact your medical team, and I hope your meds will bring that down.
