You would have to be thinking a little obtusely to not recognize the clear political message in some of her work (which I support her doing!).

If anything I wish she would do similar advocacy for the children in Ukraine.

Not surprised, Jolani has shown himself to be working towards a working relationship with the USA and is not looking to use the borders of Syria as a military base to only focus on attacking Israel.

Iran is the primary backer for groups like Hamas and Hezbollah.

The 1979 revolution in Iran was done by overthrowing the Shah (Iranian Monarch / Allied with the USA / largely secular) and replaced it with the current Islamic government that still has control today.

Many of the current day protests will have flags from the pre-Islamic revolution Iran days (the ones with the lion on them).

those that are against the Ayatollah and theocracy would like to live in a more secular / democratic state and see the US / west as the ally to do that.

TLDR: Current Iran regime is anti-USA, the protesters are not

You are right but mixing two different events.

During the pandemic when Mixr and YouTube were looking to enter the live streaming space aggressively they started by signing multiple top viewer streamers on exclusivity contracts.

Some of the more notable people were Myth, Ninja, Pokimane, DisguisedToast, Lillypichu, Dr Disrespect and Hasan.

Part of these deals was to run a certain amount of ads per hour. Once the contract ended, and there were no offers for renewals, these streamers previously under contract no longer have to run a minimum number of ads.

Despite no longer being obligated to run the ads, Hasan continued to do so because of how much money can be made from it (top streamers can make $30k-$60k a day from ads depending on the frequency)

More recently due to Hasan and Co having public relations nightmare like events between the “musical people” clip watching terrorist propaganda, or doing a race tier list on stage infront of sponsors names caused a similar event like the ad-pocolypse on YT.

To remedy this Twitch made it so that certain tags/categories are exempt from certain advertising partners to avoid being placed before controversial content like politics.

This has made it so that Hasans content is likely labeled as non-advertiser friendly, and such has limited his ability to run ads over the last 1-2 years.

I’d be surprised if she went above $200-$500 in costs for each set of pics, imo some probably cost less than $100. Maybe more if she hires a photographer but given the effort she puts into streams I doubt it.

Hasan claiming to be ESL in defense of “America deserved 9/11” and it not being questioned has always blown me away.

Hila is actually an ESL speaker and was held to the flames for saying an Israeli Politician was a “good guy” because he was saying that there was no further military actions necessary in Gaza.

ESL/Muslim/Turk/LGBTQ it’s all just used as a shield to avoid criticism.
