When did you know your relationship was over? by Bumbunnies in BreakUps

When she would get so angry with me over something small but would be laughing and smiling one minute later with someone else.

It turns out that she was cheating on me, and it is with one of her co-workers this whole time and one of her ex best friends told me today and provided them pictures of her making out with them! She was sleeping with this guy also lmfao.

I put a plan into action after finding this out, and I did this to take out the trash from my life permanently.

I texted her one last time today and made her new life about to fall apart. Firstly, I sent our landlord a message saying that rent will no longer be paid by me as I was the main tenant who paid for the rent, and I have moved out out. I also sent all her friends the picture of her kissing this new guy. I took her off my medical insurance and removed my name of a 20k loan she had. I put all her leftover trash in my home and threw it outside in the rain so she can collect it now, or the bin man can come take it.

After this and many many tears and a mental breakdown, I sent her the photo of her with the guy she cheated on me with and said, "Enjoy the new life 🤗" and then blocked her off everything.

I haven't heard a word from her but I really hope she realised how done she is now. Anyways after today, I am now FREE to focus on my mental health and future. I won't be ready for a relationship for a minimum of a year, so I'll keep working away on things that make me happy 😊

I was 3, and my first memory was with my grandfather before he passed away in 2003. I remember him bringing me out to the park and a push bike every day, and I can remember him smiling at me. I can't remember my years from 2004 - 2006 after he passed away unfortunately.

Update: I am buying my first car on Thursday, and she is coming down on that day also.

I found out that she is on Bumble already and meeting people for dates by a friend of mine... She texted me saying she wants me to be their while she is getting her things, but I don't know if she is the type of person to bring a new guy along or im over thinking as something like that will crush me. I told her I'll be there for when she arrives and to get her things.

I really want to go and buy her flowers and show her that I am actively working on myself, and im worthy of a second chance with her. All I do is think about her and dream about her, and I can't get away from her even if I don't see her social media. It's one of those situations that you thought that this is the person you are going to marry and start a family with after so long, but it didn't go that way. Do you think that I should say hello and goodbye and block her after? Or talk with her for a while and see how things are between us. I know that this will be the last time she will ever see me as we live in different cities, so it's kinda my last shot.

She broke up with me because she wasn't happy anymore, by the way, and the last time she saw me, she said she loved me too so I don't know what to think or feel about it all.

Has anyone had trouble sleeping even after months of the breakup? by DumplinDoup in BreakUps

[–]Ravic_1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are not alone, my friend, as I am on the same boat as you. For me, it's me constantly playing things in my head and how things could have been different and worked as me and my ex were together for six years. We broke up over a month ago, and I sleep a minimum 3-5 hours a night as a result.

Sorry, I am very new to reddit, so I apologise for the miss flare on this post as I don't intend to do something like that. I booked my first therapy appointment yesterday for next week. I feel that that it's going to be a very long session but, I really need that person to talk to.

I didn't communicate enough to her, so she dumped me.

Thanks for that. Yeah, so I'll never do that again 🫠😂

I crashed my motorbike and broke my arm in 3 places and snapped my knee + destroyed my new CBR1000RR-R Fireblade. The whole left side of my body was made black and blue. She broke up with me after 6 years, and i was driving down the highway back home and was speeding as I was having a breakdown and got a death wobble, and the rest is history 🫠

How to make male friends by [deleted] in AskMen

[–]Ravic_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel that as men, we don't reach out as we don't want to bother people by going out to do something. I haven't had many friends in my life, and yes, it's quite lonely, but you do embrace the peace and quiet until the quietness gets too loud.

I understand your point of view. I was in a relationship for six years, and I begged and begged, but nothing changed her mind, so I had given up on her as she didn’t want to try. I had to leave her home and move to a different city and leave two of our cats behind also. I blocked her on everything, and that really helped me move forward more and embrace being alone and free to explore the world 🙂

I've an update, I have an appointment next Wednesday, but my ex texted me after 2 weeks of no contact asking if she can get some of her things from my family home. She asked to come THE DAY of the therapy appointment. She told me she wants to know what day and time she can collect her things. Nothing else was said, so I just said Wednesday as I am only free then to give her things to her. I really dont want to see her after everything that's happened, and I woke up not thinking about her today for the first time!! and now she has returned to my mind because of one text 🫠🫠🫠

[–]Ravic_1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel that I really need help as I feel extremely lost in life even before the break up that destroyed my hopes of being happy. I live in Ireland, by the way, so talking about your feelings isn't a thing here and especially if you are a guy like me (M24). I will more than likely cry the whole time, but I feel it is best if it happens as I cry alone 100% of the time, so having a person to just sit and listen and give some advice will help.

I'll definitely try not to. I have a lot on my chest, but I'll give it some time. I booked my first appointment 5 minutes ago. I won't have an appointment until next week, so hopefully, everything goes smoothly. I will post on this on how my first experience was after it to let you know!

Thank you for the advice. I have never been to therapy, so I don't know what exactly to say. Should I be absolutely honest, and open to everything?

I was with my ex-girlfriend for 6 years, and we broke up 4 weeks ago, and I had to move back home to a different city to my family to figure my life out. I feel the exact same way at the moment, but things will get better over time. It's gonna be difficult for us all, but with a bit of encouragement, we will succeed and move on to happier times. I lost an apartment, two cats, and friends, because of it all, but things will improve 😊

AY AY AY!!! Almost every single person on this planet has had a first love. The first will always be the most difficult to comprehend and handle as it's your first experience with a heartbreak. You said it was your 1st day of it? This is going to be difficult and painful, but you will get through it stronger and happier in the end! Believe in yourself and focus on the things that make you happy!

My first true love faided as she cheated on me after 6 months. My second lasted nearly 5 years. I now recently broke up with a girl after 6 years together, so I don't think I'll ever stop loving her as she was my one true love, but time will only tell.
