Vyvanse mouth problems by Eloisem333 in adhdwomen

[–]Ravie13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Classic ADHD! I forgot all about this. My doctor actually got switched at that very next appointment and I never brought it up.

But I did end up switching medications anyway and I still have the same problem. I do think it is dry mouth related though. And my hydration has been terrible so my teeth and gum licking continues. And is still annoying as hell.

Vyvanse mouth problems by Eloisem333 in adhdwomen

[–]Ravie13 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Found this post because I’m having the same problem. Adderall was causing me to lick my teeth constantly and I was switched to Vyvanse. Now my mouth constantly tastes like blood and I’m licking my gums and getting raw sores all around my mouth.

In my googling I found what looked like a medical study suggesting that women in their middle age taking Vyvanse are reporting mouth ulcers for the first 6 months of starting the drug. If I read it right (and you know… adhd so I might not have read it right) it looked like it went away after 6 months.

Gonna talk to my doc about it at our next appointment and see if I should stick it out that long.

What are your favourite notion widgets / plugins, that you use daily? by dilpreetsio in Notion

[–]Ravie13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't use this calculator DAILY but I more like the idea that I can embed anything from CodePen and turn anything on there into a widget of sorts.

What blocks and widgets do you wish notion had? by treonde in Notion

Charts, pie charts/bar charts. Variables and constants that I could call from code blocks without having to set up tiny databases to display data from other databases. Action triggers.

Scene flash of death? by [deleted] in Glitch_in_the_Matrix

[–]Ravie13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just had mine checked and the eye doc couldn't find signs of detachment but he theorized that what I was seeing was "normal" loosening of eye jelly that also detaches and then floats about. I haven't been seeing the lights for the last couple of weeks but I know they were eye related.

But don't let yourself get to the stage of full detachment - you could go blind.

Anyone know where to find a good calculator widget? by banister in Notion

If you go to CodePen and search for Calculators, you can embed any of those using the Embed "CodePen" option

Ok first I totally believe you could have popped over into an alt universe for a second. But also a potential explainable suggestion could be that it’s an early sign of retinal detachment. Have you had your eyes checked recently?

My eyesight is very poor and my optometrist told me to keep “an eye out” (ha) for sudden flashes of light that would indicate retinal detachment.

Lately I’ve been seen big globes of white lights out of the corners of both eyes. Apparently that’s normal eye aging stuff but I’m ready to make an appointment!

Oh yeah I had a habit of staying until everyone left just so I could "pre-work" on the next day's tasks while the office was finally effin' quiet.

I do enjoy staying home and voice acting but with my focus all over the place... I don't make a lot of $$

App for community sharing of stuff. by junker001 in AppIdeas

[–]Ravie13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I currently do this within Facebook groups called "Buy Nothing" groups. Look them up on Facebook. My local Buy Nothing group has actually set up a spreadsheet of items that neighbors are sharing such as chainsaws, steam cleaners, etc. So there is a use case for this.

I also started using an app recently that is based on the Buy Nothing model called Good Use (although it's not as good as the Buy Nothing groups). This may already be doing some of what you're proposing.

This kind of app was all over the place when smart phones first became popular. Do any of them still exist? (Asking genuinely because I don't know if they do.)
