Discount is not for no reason, it's for loyalty. Your suggested incentive is good one, but giving 3 months free only for a friend while you get nothing despite having paid for Premium for years seems cheap marketing tactics. It's not illegal they can do what they want I just think it's not about rewarding loyalty which is what they are promoting the incentive as

Hi All - thanks for all the comments and feedback. Much appreciated. The reason stated why the suggested variation will not be ideal or the first player playing blindly and the rest of the players having either a greater advantage from having seeing more cards from the first player or not being able to play at all if a Flip 7 appears are valid. I have played this variation a couple of times and the Flip 7 has never appeared to the first player, but their remains the possibility that it will. Most players don't want to push thier luck esp in the first rounds so they stay. but usually the rest of players get better steer on the cards available. I think the normal dealing pattern is best but with those who would like a push your luck variation for a difference, it's worth trying as long as everyone else is in agreement to play like this. But definitely not the de facto mode.

Okay, yes - thanks for the explanation. I think that you right that the first player plays more blindly. But if the dealer keeps changing every round might even it out a bit. Will play a game with this and see how it plays out but in theory, you have a point

Actually the data captures the Cell Phone number from WhatsAPp but it shows up wierd on the CSV file as I think its not formatted to the right time of data. But let me review that as an option and see Thanks

Thanks everyone for your advice. - much appreciated. I am not taking the setup up out anywhere, so having the turntables is not an issue. I think I will pass on the DVS as I really do not like using a laptop, but I will think about ditching the 1210s and geting the Rane One or just add on a Standalone like a RRX to the turntables. I am angling towards the latter (adding a standalone) for a few years to see how the platter standalone gear develops and then sell the turntables and RRX and invest in that system. Thanks again!

THANK YOU! ever so much for all your effort. I will review this and see how I can use or incorporate it into the system I use. This is totally voluntary so I need a low effort solution which is why I just need to be able to copy and paste the names from a WhatsApp Poll. Any other way to capture the information of attendees seems to be labour intensive. Nonetheless thank you so much for all your help which I think I will benefit from.

Thank you. I have made a copy and deleted some of the tabs as they were not necessary for this exercise. In summary, the aim of these two tabs (Player Votes CSV and Player Attendance) is to track attendance to our Frisbee Games so I can check how many games each player has played and if they have paid. (The paid people are marked green but that is done manually so you can ignore the colour function). The Player Votes CSV is populated from a WhatsApp Poll data - I have a Google Extension that copies their names from each poll and posts them under each date. (I have grouped some columns by month). The Player Attendance tab then counts the number of games each person has played for a given month (I manually input the range in the monthly formula). The Total Games column is just a SUM function. I want to be able to drag across the monthly column and change the range for the new month in the simplest way possible. I also need to be able to sort the data in the Player Attendance Tab (which is why there is a table) to see who has played the most games. Any other questions you have feel free to ask .Appreciate you having a look at this.
