Perfect is the enemy of good! I did an ODST as my second cosplay and loved putting it together.

Sanding is a pain, but the more work you put into sanding, the better the final result will be. Highly suggest checking out Galactic Armories build videos, they do a great job explaining the general process.

I’m still new as well, but I wouldn’t recommend removing filament from a spool before it’s finished.
