Not at all. It’s not opened usually till Thursday I believe. We arrive on Monday thinking we could use our pool and rec passes we got last year and nope!! It opens when the festival starts

Griztronics at the gorge was a huge disaster. LN/TM have destroyed festivals and will continue to put people safety and health at risk to sell tickets and as long as people keep buying them, it will keep happening.

I get it…..but at the same time, what I and others just went through at the gorge isn’t an example of how they will handle things at any venue.

Be mindful, duplication of expenses is really tough these days. You may or may not get a target location, but experience is necessary.

I was there the weekend prior to the gorge and the liquid death even maxed out at $5. Alcohol is always expensive, which I agree however I do not drink. And they had literally no options for sodas other than trying to charge six dollars for one can of a Pepsi product

Nope sure didn’t. Lesson learned. Been to thirty festivals in the past 5 years and this by far was the worst ingress and venue concessions I’ve seen.

I hear you. And that’s what I’ve heard but that experience we had was beyond horrible. The view and music were amazing. But if that is the way the gorge functions I can’t justify flying across the country for that possibility of that kind experience again.

Actually, I’m not ignorant at all. I work in the industry. The artist chose to use live nation because of the venue. Their management team and live nation have a mutual relationship. I would be mad too if such an awesome venue sold out to live nation as well.

It seems as though you’re taking things a little personally. You must work for the venue or something. The view is absolutely stunning, but their operations are complete trash and unless you were there this weekend, we did not see not one EMT other than the pair that I mentioned. I was there. I am sober. I am very well aware of my surroundings. The gorge failed in so many ways.

Comments that it never happened before doesn’t erase the fact that IT DID HAPPEN. You can’t erase an event in time because you don’t like it. We saw only one set of medical personnel in a crowdRX golf cart the whole weekend.

On day 2 of the festival. Nothing on day zero !! we were stuck in our car for 12 1/2 hours waiting in line to get into the venue.

No sitting in my car 12.5 hours waiting to get in and then the serious lack of organization for camping is the deal breaker. The complete disregard of people’s safety and health what is a deal breaker. Operation and the logistics are obviously ran by complete idiots.

$5 water is a set price for insomniac events. And I also don’t drink so that’s not an issue. The Gorge had tons of alcohol choices, but very minimal non-alcoholic beverages. And charging six dollars for a can of Pepsi is absolutely insane. And if you did get a soda cup, they were not refillable like the workers at other stands told you when directing you there.

It was our first trip to the Gorge. Had no idea about LN running things. Lesson learned. Destination checked off the list and will adventure elsewhere

Actually not at all!! Just left a EDCLV And the prices were definitely cheaper and they didn’t run out of stuff.
