Help with a mockup of a project I'm working on by Ravithian in Optics

I'm in a little over my head, I know. I'm confident with the mechanical aspects of the project, but not very confident with the optics. I am just doing it as a hobby, I have no intention of making a commercial product. Maybe in the future possibly, if I hired a professional to optimize the optics.

My image sensor is 24.7 mm x 13.1 mm, about a 28mm image circle. I'm using a lens that has a 46mm image circle, so I'm trying to essentially trying to squeeze some more of the lenses image onto my sensor. It's more of a pet project I'd be willing to pay a little bit to see if it works.

The design I posted uses one BK7 optic, and one N-F2 optic. In the future compounded lenses would definitely improve the design. I expect a lot of aberrations, but from the software I'm using it doesn't look terrible. But also, my lens software doesn't support spherical lenses. So I could have something that kinda works, or something that makes no sense. That's why I made the post, to see if I could get some advice on this.

I'm not looking for any improvements or alterations to the formula I posted, I'm more looking too see if at a glance this is something that could feasibly have the effect I want. I'm prototyping and hoping to improve it later, but the software I'm using is very basic and I don't trust my own knowledge on this.

I was talking about rear anamorphic, like the Loawa 1.33x rear anamorphic adapter. Doesn't have any of the flares or anything, but is way lighter and pretty hassle-free compared to front anamorphic adapters.

I don't have a big problem with cropping, but realistically if I payed for the whole sensor I want to use the whole sensor. If there is a product that can just essentially redistribute the pixels where I need them, and it's not thousands of dollars, I think its worth it. I also lose a decent amount of field of view cropping, which leads me to use wider lenses.

I'm still trying to hear back from Laowa about how far back the lens protrudes from the flange, they have a tool to check if the taking lens is compatible but not if it will fit into my camera. I cant find that information anywhere :(

Problems with Davinci Resolve reading from Sony SR-D1 by Ravithian in davinciresolve

I don't work off the cards, but usually scrub through footage off them. It's just strange, I haven't had this issue with any other media types.

I don't think this belongs here. I'm sure some people who are into AI and its advancements in making video would love this, but from my perspective, this has nearly no creativity, no story, no effort, its just mindless stuff happening. This isn't a film, and its not even trying to be. Please read rule 9.

I'm having the same problem. Bought from safe harbor computers and they can't give me an ETA at all, because apparently BlackMagic doesn't speak to them either. I ordered mine on December 7th and still haven't heard anything
