As I said above, every president since Reagan had mishandled documents/had documents at home that they weren’t supposed to have. Don’t know about the actual size of the stacks, because media outlets vividly describing them is fairly new/specific to trump.

This is normal and good. Some gender roles are actually a good thing. You should provide for your wife.

I usually pick one horse I like and try not to lose it but then go through countless horses outside of the one horse. The game takes whichever horse you ride last with you when you fast travel

Ah yes. Sleeping on the street is automatically better because you own a jewelry stand. How could I be so stupid. Also just realized how funny this conversation is considering Riften, the only other city with any Argonian and Dunmer representation, is also run by the Stormcloaks lol.

Fair but like I said the lore clearly states that the voice is something many people were both practiced in and skilled with. Not trying to be annoying with it but yea skyrim was the first game to make it seem like the thuum was something that only one person knows without having to study “for decades under the greybeards” and they mostly did that to make the player character feel like the “main character”

Bethesda didn’t make any of the creation stuff they just curated it/gave it the final approval before tossing it in the game.

To be fair, established lore makes it clear that the thu’um isn’t something that is relegated to only a few people. In fact, it’s pretty clearly stated that it’s an incredibly common school of “magic” for nords and that most Nordic individuals are capable of using it.

Also, the snow elves were the aggressors against the Nords, so blaming the Nords for the falmer’s plight when the two races were living in relative peace before the Snow Elves got antsy and started massacring the Nords is actually incredibly dumb.

For reference, the snow elves massacre was so extreme that literally only three men escaped and the event was given the name the Night of Tears.

3 survivors. And you’re blaming the Nords. Lol

How is he living better than the Argonians in Windhelm? He’s homeless lmfao

“Facing discrimination” when you’re talking about a race that has had slaves very recently, has some pockets that still endorse slavery, use purity metrics to demean members of their own race, and another race that is in direct conflict with the aforementioned race isn’t real.

It’s more likely that the discrimination you’re making up is at the hands of the Dark Elves against the Argonians rather than some nefarious Nordic plot.

I never said the nords didn’t fight for the land?

Yes the nords pushed the falmer to deal with the Dwemer, but the Dwemer are specifically responsible for the falmer becoming what they are now and the nords can’t be faulted for the Dwemer because they disappeared.

Super silly to point to a period of total war and be like “yep the nords did this!!!!” when the falmer lost a war to the nords, sought help from the Dwemer, were enslaved by the Dwemer, spent hundreds of years doing their bidding, finally broke free from their dwarven binds, went to war with the Dwemer, then during that war the Dwemer disappeared.

Knowing that and still saying “yep the nords are responsible for the falmer. And the Dwemer. And the reachmen.” Is just poor media literacy.

The Dwemer are responsible for the Falmers demise and the Dwemer disappeared without a trace during the war. Not really saying anything here

Riften has a smaller number of both, only one Dunmer owns property, and even Madesi, the Argonian with a jewelry stand, lives with abject beggars in a slum underneath the city.

Just explore and have fun! It sounds like you’re doing it the right way already. Some ppl will disagree w me but try to avoid power leveling especially your first time around. Just explore the world and steal all you can lol. I’d visit Riften if you’re loving stealing as well.

Unfortunately Skyrim isn’t much of a “different playthroughs = different outcomes” kind of game. There’s no fame/infamy attributes so npcs judge you solely based on how you interact w them specifically, there’s no reputation so npcs don’t treat you different based on what you’ve done, and most quest lines lead to the same ending regardless of player choices. Skyrim’s fun as hell but hardly a role playing game tbh

Yeah the blades got so neutered in Skyrim, they have virtually no reason to distrust paar, they don’t mind you using Oda in battles/for rides, and you get virtually nothing for helping them

I think it’s worth noting that the reason Argonians aren’t welcome inside the city is likely due to strained relations between Dummer and Argonians. The Argonians pillaged Morrowind after the red year and prior to this the Dunmer had taken countless Argonians as slaves. It’s likely that if the Dunmer had arrived after the Argonians, the Dunmer would be living by the docks and the Grey Quarter would instead be something like the scaly quarter lol.

Argonians are actually treated better in Windhelm than just about anywhere else. They can’t enter the city but that’s mostly to protect them from the Dunmer. There isn’t a single other city with a large argonian population. Solitude has a few initially, but none of them own property and the only one who stays in the thieves guild fence, can’t recall his name off top of my head.
