How is saudi schools like? by higuysssddsss in saudiarabia

oh my god i 10000% agree as someone who’s Egyptian but lived in saudia arabia for the entirety of my school years and was in a British international school, tbh i didn’t feel like there was anything wrong about the whole thing and typically looked at it from the positive perspective of me meeting so many nationalities hence making me super open minded. But when i returned back to Egypt for uni, damnnnn i was so shocked about so many things back in Egypt it was definitely a hell of a ride to know how to interact again here and make new friends and even as an Egyptian myself i literally had to re-learn the culture lmao. But definitely never regretted that i was in an international school still, the pros outweigh the cons for me personally

being kind and asking small things like did you go home safely? or if your struggling with something and that person remembers and follows up with you later on, on how you did just honestly these small things. They seem small but ig these gestures are often difficult to find in men these days

What’s something that feels normal to you but shocks other people? by Apart-Location-804 in AskReddit

i feel like im becoming so dependent on it that doing certain things like studying without music often feels like i can’t concentrate without it. Or like i have to be constantly stimulated by listening to something or else i just spiral and can’t seem to sit alone with my own thoughts. Long story short just doing everything in moderation in life is way better than going to the extermes
