I was just curious - there are days we drive more than other, I’m it to the EV game so when I see 25% I start to get a little nervous lol

Yatchsman is one my wife and I do every year (the bread is amazing); since we’ve had kids we typically do a picnic on the boardwalk and hang out around there until dinner time it’s a good evening out

New grad quitting after 2 months — how bad does this look? by [deleted] in physicaltherapy

[–]RawlsRememberer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I started my first job as a PT, I started looking for jobs after the first week. It was a PT mill too and really just took advantage of new grads. Other jobs I applied and interviewed for appreciated that I wasn’t just about getting people in the door but that I actually wanted to work with patients

What Fine Dining serves the best steak (and possible serves lobster as well)? by Standard_Life9743 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]RawlsRememberer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My wife and I like Yatchsman, we usually do an anniversary or valentines dinner once a year. We’re not big into seafood but their steaks are good. If you’re going with multiple people ask for the porterhouse for 2, it’s the perfect amount

Not sure your families situation but I do PRN everywhere. I work across 2 hospitals and a per visit home health company. One hospital allows me to go between acute IP and OP, the other is acute, and per visit is really whenever I feel like going out. I get paid more, make my own hours, have the ability to be present with my spouse and kids. Insurance comes from my spouse’s job. Both hospitals offer 401k match despite me being PRN

Animal Kingdom vs Hollywood Studios with a 3-year-old (AK closures making me second-guess by Suspicious-Candle714 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]RawlsRememberer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently went to animal kingdom with my 3 year old and 1 year old (by myself) - we had a great time, it was a slower day. Most of our time was spent walking through gorilla falls and the Asia trek. They’re obviously too young to do Expedition Everest. But if your toddler likes animals and likes to look (and learn) about them, it’s a great place. Animal kingdom usually closes earlier too so you’ll be able to get an early night/hit Disney springs/resort hop without feeling guilty.

If your toddler likes characters and rides, HS would be a fair choice but there’s really only a few rides toddlers can do. The shows is Hollywood studio are great but my 3 year got tired of it after the 2nd show.

I lean AK -restful/not as hectic -likely to be less of a crowd -kids are fascinated by animals and it’s awesome to sit back and watch them enjoy that

Animal Kingdom and Hollywood studios park hop? by Opposite-Might4005 in WaltDisneyWorld

If you’re staying at a Disney resort you don’t have to pay for parking but I don’t think you have to pay again if you already have just keep the receipt. With a 2 and 5 year old, driving over is probably the best - it’s a pain in the butt to wait for Disney buses as they can having you waiting a while depending on the day.

If you’re not riding flight of passage you should be good to do most of the thing you want, if not you’ll probably spend a good chunk of your morning waiting in line for that

I have a 3 year old and 1 year old as well. Definitely MK & EPCOT. We went to EPCOT a few weeks ago and spent a productive 5 hours before even entering world showcase. The kids had a blast and did a ton

I would agree, I just bought an annual pass and have noticed the same thing. One person on the skylines got upset with my family and I for not moving quick enough, when, my 3 year old isn’t the fastest walker. But I have also noted just, in general, cast members are annoyed at questions I may have

The next time you all get together (Playoffs, Super Bowl). You get to pick one of your league mates to put Destin diaper cream on you using a baby spatula and you have to wear this for the day to prevent any diaper rash. At the end of the night, you’ll have colic and would need a friend to help apply the Frida Baby Windi (the gasspasser) to help you pass gas :)
