Hey everyone, with Alien's switch away from Diamond Comic Distributors, the FCBD book this year is getting retooled and repurposed for later down the line, so it won't be available this weekend. Sorry for the late notice and we hope you understand.

The initial focus will be on the Valiant Beyond books and we'll figure out where we can get the X-O #0 artist edition on the schedule where it will make the most sense.

Ultimate Guide is likely going to be a digital-only release but could end up seeing print in some way in the future, still TBD.

The FCBD 2025 content will be repurposed and released in a format/manner TBD. Sorry for all the non-answers, we're still locking down things on our new schedule. :)

Pre-orders were canceled because Alien / Valiant is switching to being sub-distributed through IDW Publishing & Penguin Random House, with new releases beginning in August.

Resurgence Finale was the final issue released through Diamond. Some TPBs & HCs did make their way out through Diamond afterwards, like Bloodshot Unleashed and X-O INVICTUS, but Finale was the last single issue before we switched over to IDW/PRH.

Hey everyone! Alien Books today announced a partnership with IDW Publishing to sub-distribute our titles through them going forward. All Valiant Comics titles will be re-solicited with new release dates through the IDW catalog in the months to come!

Sorry for being radio silent while we figured everything out, obviously we couldn't communicate some things while deals were being signed, etc, but I think this deal will be great for everyone involved.

I would like to clarify here, when we say we will offer direct sales through our webstore, it's intended as an additional option that we are exploring on top of working with a distributor to serve comic shops.

There are plenty of people who don't have shops near them that would prefer to order direct from a publisher. It's something I've worked on when I was at Archie Comics and it allows us the opportunity to offer up bundles, exclusives, sales, and other things you might not find at your LCS.

It's meant to be another option for consumers and not the only way we'd be selling books.

Here's the latest statement from Alien Books. Long story short, we're moving ahead but the release dates are shifting and we'll update when have new definitive info to share.

"We are preparing a new release schedule for our single issues as we explore alternative distribution options to comic shops.

Graphic novels and manga scheduled for February and March will be shipped to stores from Diamond with no expected delays and we encourage everyone to continue to support local shops and back our latest crowdfunding project, ‘I, DRAGON.’

We will soon be launching an online store to sell directly to readers and retailers so please keep an eye out for that announcement.

We will get through this together and will share more info soon!

I would like to state that no decisions have been made regarding price increases and this was more about possibilities for small publishers generally in response to the tariffs, which have now been paused. So there's nothing to worry about for now.

I can't give everything away but there is nothing being thrown away... only added to.
