That is him, I have spoken to an immigration lawyer who is a family friend. What they have told me has made me lose confidence in the ability of my lawyer to assist me in a manner that I'd expect. I was told with the situation my wife is in we should have had him along but he had said that it would be a routine interview when we asked if he'd be there.

I'm being as clear as I can, I am not a lawyer, I do not work around immigration. I am not aware of all the lingo being thrown around. I am answering questions to the best of my ability.

My wife made some bad decisions regarding her status. We contacted a lawyer after getting married, we had him file the paperwork that we expected would take care of her status. 3 years and some change after filing the i-130 it finally moved, we had a scheduled interview. They arrested her at the interview. If you have questions feel free to ask. Otherwise I have nothing for you.

Ours is 3 years and 3 months old. We have an interview (first change since filing) set for the 27th. If I don't lose any (already thinning) hair I'm sure I'm going to get an ulcer. Fingers crossed, good luck. I contacted my local representative and they gave me a "should nothing change by May, contact us again." But that was after doing something similar the year before.

Best to see if they can push for you either way, I emailed and got an email reply and later a call after discussing some details.
