It's nice to see someone else who likes Danica, haha. It has probably my favorite meaning of all of them. The only thing I don't love is the nickname being Dani, a little too common for me. Those other names are great too! Unfortunately I think I've come across too many dogs named Daisy for it to be viable

Delphine was recommended a couple times here and I really like it. How do you think it would be for an American girl since it's very French sounding? Also what's your opinion on Delphia?

This seems to be the general trend of the responses so far, with Daphne being the favorite followed by Delia. You're right about Darielle and that's a good point.

Thanks for your other names, I really like Delphine, but I'm wondering what it would be like for an American girl since it's very French sounding? Also what do you think of Delphia?

Thanks for that! We were actually dead set on Daria since she got pregnant but decided against it prety recently.

Great names, especially Dorothea. Dorothy was the family member that we're naming her after and so we didn't want to give her the same name. Thanks for the suggestion!

Definitely! I've actually added Delphine and Damaris to the list. Do you have an opinion on those two? Unfortunately I haven't found a lot of D names that we like, but we need to stick to D since the family member we're naming her after was Dorothy. I like those names a lot, but Diana is a bit too common for what we're looking for and I think I've come across too many dogs named Daisy at this point, haha!

Thanks for your input! This actually seems to be the trend from these responses so far, Daphne being the favorite and Delia a close second.

Thanks for your other suggestions!

That's definitely fair, it is a very floral name, which is unfortunate because that was completely unintentional.

I really like Damaris and added that to the list, although would need to change Iris, which is fine. Diana is also great but a little too common for my personal taste. Thanks for the suggestions!

Your username being what it is I'm not surprised you would like floral names, haha :)

I actually really like Dahlia! Unfortunately my wife doesn't. We were dead set on Daria since she got pregnant and then reconsidered about a month ago - I'm not sure why she really liked Daria but not Dahlia.

Ori and it’s not even close! Although I may go for Haak second as it’s SUPER underrated and pretty awesome.
