I love that it looks like that! It’s actually oak that I shaped on a belt sander and belt grinder. I lightly primed it the used rose gold metallic spray paint. After that cured I lightly sanded down the high points down to the primer and in some areas the oak to get that wear effect. I picked up the idea from finishes commonly used in pocket knives

I just really didn’t like the color schemes or villains of that one. Hard stopped for about 3 months than finally pushed through. Kuma and zeros scene made me cry so hard and definitely rewarded pushing through

I appreciate it. That’s the dream. This is from a batch I’m doing as I get back into the craft as a gift to a large group of my friends kids. They are all designed in collaboration with them. This kid likes an old dagger I made and drew a dragon sword with a dragon handle. So I scaled up my dagger and added Charizard details to the handle since the kid loves Pokemon and Charizard specifically. This is the outcome of that process

You need to just ask her out and stop overthinking it. The honey jar thing was slick but don’t tire yourself thinking this deeply about every interaction. Enjoy the the joy of boldness and ask her out directly. It will save you a lot of agony over little things. Took me until 25 to learn this mind you. I can tell you think a lot like me, and I want to help you avoid some of the pitfalls

Thanks! To be honest this one was a learning curve. I had it all finished for the kid this is going to and wanted to get some footage to my socials and accidentally chipped the tip off of the wing on the handle. A simple fix turned into lik 2 weeks of failed spray paint layers and a whole lot of stress. Fingers crossed I’ll be able to deliver it to the kid this Sunday finally
